Oshino Hakkai
Oshino Hakkai is a charming and historic village nestled at the foot of Mount Fuji, renowned for its eight sacred ponds. These crystal-clear ponds are a result of natural filtration of Mount Fuji's snowmelt, and their transparency allows for a captivating view of the vibrant aquatic life and underwater flora. The village itself is a feast for the eyes, with traditional thatched-roof houses, water wheels, and lush greenery that evoke a sense of stepping back in time. On a clear day, the awe-inspiring backdrop of Mount Fuji, often reflected in the serene waters, creates a truly unforgettable and iconic Japanese landscape. Chureito Pagoda
Chureito Pagoda is a five-story pagoda located on a hillside in Fujiyoshida City, offering one of Japan's most iconic and spectacular views. The main highlight is the observation deck, which provides a quintessential Japanese panorama of the brilliant red pagoda, the sprawling cityscape, and the majestic Mount Fuji in the background. The pagoda was built in 1963 as a peace memorial to honor war dead, and the site is part of the larger Arakura Sengen Shrine complex.

5.00Johnny and Yuka were very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient arranging our customized itinerary. The weather forecast was mixed but at the last minute it turned out sunny when we started. Yuka took us to the Pagoda view so we could get a good look at Mt Fuji in case it got cloudy later and indeed, it got cloudy. Yuka also efficiently took us through all the places in our itinerary, often showing the overlooked scenic spots. We even covered a couple of items not on our itinerary. Overall, this was a great experience for us and we will not hesitate to call them again

5.00This was an amazing tour, Johnny was absolutely fantastic. We were a group of five from Australia. He's extremely knowledgable about the area and extremely passionate about his tours. The day flies by as you visit incredible hidden gem locations, that you'd never find without Johnny's local knowledge. I would highly recommend this tour!

I reached out to Johnny the day before asking for a tour and he was quick and responsive to give us the details for a tour the following day with Yuka! Yuka was extremely friendly and easy to talk to, she took me and my parents to great lookout spots as well as other interesting locations. With my dad not being able to walk too much, she customised an itinerary that suited our pace without compromising on what we ended up seeing! Highly recommend anyone looking for a private tour In the Kawaguchiko area!! Will definitely return!

5.00Helpful, friendly, fluent English speakers and all round lovely people! My husband and I had the best experience dealing with Johnny and our guide Yuka from the get go. Fast and prompt with replies (especially when I was stressed about booking something late & especially everyone else only offered tours beginning in Tokyo) , incredibly helpful when I needed some advice in the area before we met them! Yuka our guide was knowledgeable and wonderful (she was even happy to drive me to a good coffee / toilet spots whenever I needed and picked us up early from our cabin!) We really appreciated the flexibility they gave us with the time (especially around our train times) and with the attractions we wanted to visit. It was important for me to customize my tour as I had already seen some sights and wanted to avoid certain spots (eg not keen on shrines, not keen on physically arduous stairs, etc) Bonus: Yuka knew all the good photo spots and took heaps for us ❤️ Thank for the amazing hospitality and friendliness, guys! We will always remember you and happy to host you when you come to our country!

5.00Loved loved loved it. My tour was with Yuka and she was amazing. Went to all the spectacular sites with Fuji in sight lucked out with weather too) and was able to pace at my comfort level. Yuka was very knowledgeable of the area. And not to mention Johnnie who made it so easy to answer questions and book via WhatsApp. The while experience won’t soon be forgotten Definitely recommend!

5.00Johnny is a great guide for the crazy city of Tokyo. The food places he took us to were local spots that I would have never eaten at alone as a tourist but I’m so glad Johnny took us. The nightlife was such a unique experience as these were places I would have never found as a tourist! Thank you Johnny!

5.00The Tokyo Underground tour truly lives up to its name! Johnny was able to show us so many local attractions off the beaten path that we either would have never known about or been too timid as tourists to embark on. Johnny’s knowledge of the area and personality are unmatched! After over a week in Shinjuku, Shibuya, and Ginza, my siblings and I felt like we had explored much of Tokyo. We were so wrong! Johnny showed us a side of Tokyo that we otherwise would not have known existed! If you are looking for a memorable and exciting night in Tokyo with a hilarious, energetic, and lovable guide, this is the tour for you!

5.00Johnny is such a great guide! Fun, relaxed, and knowledgeable about this area as well as Japanese history. He took us multiple local bars and we enjoyed the food and everything. Highly recommend, If you want to enjoy your night and experience the local vibe!
