Munnar Tea Trail Tea tour which we organize with well trained local guide for our guest to have experience through lovely tea plantation & to do walking for few hours and see the process of Tea Pluckier workers and even spend some time with them and know more about there local culture & lifestyle ,then we move on to tea tasting section & tea factory visit for 1hour,we say Chai(Tea) in local language is the most widely drunk beverage in the whole world. The tea plant origin from Camellia Sansis, is a cultivated variety of a tree that has its origins in an area between India and China. Tea plantation Walk for few hours. This involves a maximum of 2 to 3 hours walking through the Tea plantation in Lockhart tea estate and then ( read more tour details in what to expect description area)

This factory which was built in 1936 and have ancient machinery. The visitors are given a briefing about the tea making process, its history & health benefits of tea 3 .Tea -Tasting Tea is the most widely drunk beverage in the whole world ,this factory offers tea tasting section for the visitors. This program is been designed by our team keeping in mind the intricate details in every aspect of tea. This training course include Tea Blending Course, Tea Tasting Course. The modules have been articulated after repeated fine-tuning in order to impart the best possible knowledge about tea. There are 9 levels of this program which are framed in a way to gradually accentuate the depth of your knowledge.

This tour is a scam! the "English guide" was just a tuktuk driver who barely spoke English. he first dropped me off at the tea factory and then at a very small tea field where he sent me off to walk around by myself. and that was it, no walking on a tea trail, no explanations, nothing. total scam, do not book this!

Priya was a great guide who even gave me a tour after the rest of the group had postponed the trip. She is very patient and educated. I learned a lot about the tea pickers lives and even visited one of their villages.

Our guide priya such great women in munnar with lot of knowledge! Very kind attitude!! We did Lockhart Tea Plantation tour today morning!The guide was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We had the walk around the tea plantation and visted factory at last was also good. Would highly recommend this tour.

Beautiful tea plantations in Munnar including a lovely snack Very informative and interesting visit of the tea factory Our guides Manish and Raj were very friendly and helpful and explained a lot about the tea production and the history. Highly recommended

Nagu was an amazing guide! We enjoyed our first walking into tea plantation . He’s really knowledgable, fun and just a pleasure to be around. And the views were spectacular! Factory visit was nice experience

We recently had done Tea Trail Tour with kumar, and it was an unforgettable experience. our guide, was great — truly knowledgeable and He provided fascinating walking into the tea plantations, from the picking of the leaves to the final production stages and process, making the entire trip superb!!!

Really enjoyed this tour and would recommend! There were 5 in our group and we had a lovely walk through the tea plantations, seeing how the tea grows and taking lots of photos. Our transport was a nice blue jeep. We then went on to the tea factory tour where we learnt more about the different types of tea and how they are all produced from one plant. We joined a large group for the factory tour but this was OK as the guide there had a microphone so we could still hear him clearly. The tea tasting came at the end of the factory tour was enlightening - we now know what goes into our teabags. Fruit, snacks and drinks were provided along the way. Overall a great, well organised tour. Nagu our guide was friendly and also a good driver - important on the windy mountain roads!
