My husband and I booked a private tour with Three Sister Navajo Guided Tour company. Amory was an excellent guide and representative of his heritage. We so enjoyed his stories and knowledge of the areas and formations we were shown. He was entertaining with his knowledge and whit. I recommend Amory with Three Sister Navajo Tour Company

Fabulous tour! We just returned from our Mystery Valley tour with our outstanding guide, Amory. We enjoyed the beautiful views, and very insightful historical context and commentary. Amory was able to share personal stories from past generations in his family. The landscape was amazing even after our recent visits to Monument Valley and Arches National Park. Viewing the pictographs and petroglyphs was incredible. In addition to being interesting, fun, and informative, Amory is an excellent photographer. He took a number of great photos including the one I'll share here.

Our Mystery Valley tour with guide Amory was the highlight of our very busy week exploring Four Corners redrock country. Amory shared his personal experiences of growing up on the Navajo Reservation among these thousand year-old ruins in stunning Monument Valley. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him, and hope to see Amory again. We recommend him without reservation to all travelers looking for a unique experience in Monument Valley. Thank you, Amory!

We booked the Mystery Valley Tour as part of three tours in Monument Valley, and this one turned out to be the most challenging—mainly because of the weather. On the way back, we got caught in a rainstorm. Unfortunately, the jeep had no rain protection, and at 30–40 mph on the highway, all four of us in the vehicle were soaked. This part was very uncomfortable and disappointing, especially since I had given advance notice about our booking and would have expected better preparation for possible weather conditions. That said, the driver was cordial and knowledgeable, and he did take us to some unique and fascinating sites that we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. The cultural and scenic aspects of the tour were worthwhile. Overall, it was a good experience with a major drawback due to the lack of rain protection. If this happens again, I would hope Viator and the operator consider offering a partial refund or at least a solution for guest comfort.

This was a personalized tour with just my wife and I. It was in an open air 4wd truck. Our guide was Vernon, a Navajo raised in Monument Valley and whose relatives live in Mystery Valley which he roamed as a child. Very historical perspective. The scenery and views were not something available on the public tours or self guided tours. Vernon was excellent!

I booked the Mystery Valley tour months in advance. The tour is much more expensive than the Monument Valley tour. We were not taken on the tour. We were not given an explanation why we didn't get the tour. I requested a refund from tour company. They insulted me with a fraction of the refund I was due. NO APOLOGIES AND NO EXPLANATIONS. This experience pretty much ruined my visit.

Ours was the half day tour, not the Mystery Valley Tour, but both are the same length - 1/2 day. Our guide, Helen, was excellent. She explained Navajo culture as well as helped us appreciate Monument Valley and its beauty. Highly recommend!!
