Nairobi National park adventure is a unique treat for any guest keen on experiencing a taste of Kenya's wildlife and natural resource.The park is located just 10 km from Nairobi,thus qualifying as the only park in the world situated amidst a capital city. It is the oldest national park in Kenya established in 1964 and covers an area of 117 sq km. The park is fiercely beautiful consisting areas of savanna grasslands, forests, cliffs,valleys and wetlands. It is a haven for both wildlife and bird life and has different types of trees and bushes. Visitors can easily see grazing herbivores such as Zebras, Eland, Buffaloes, Gazelles, Rhinos and other mammalian species. Carnivores found here includes Lions, Hyenas, Cheetah, Jackals and the Leopard. Bird watching is relatively easy from the park's undisturbed grasslands, forests and wetlands. Visitors have a unique experience watching and photographing animals against a backdrop of city buildings.

You are picked up at dawn from your hotel or residence for a short drive to the Nairobi National park, Enjoy a stunning sunrise over a beautiful scenic landscape, Experience a breath of wilderness as you watch a variety of wild animals roaming freely in this fascinating park.Enjoy a safari adventure watching Lions,Hyenas buffaloes, Giraffes, Rhino, Zebras, Elands and other mammalian species.Watch an astounding variety of beautiful bird species found in this park's undisturbed grasslands,valleys and marshlands. A record 100 bird species out of the available 500 can be easily seen in different habitats on a normal day. We visit the park's hippo point lookout located at the deeper ends of Mbagathi river for a leisurely walk by the banks. We then explore the park's forest glade,escarpments and cliffs looking for the elusive Leopard present in this park but seldom spotted. We exit the park after a full filling 5 hour adventure of a lifetime.

5.00As a solo female traveller and first-time visitor to Kenya, I was looking for a safe and reliable safari experience. Mr. Benson was punctual, respectful, knowledgeable, and, importantly, fun to be around! I took the safari on my own and it was the best decision. Mr. Benson adapted to my needs and preferences, sharing knowledge, stopping whenever and for as long as I wanted, and joining me in moments of silence and contemplation. His driving was very safe and professional. At the park, I saw all the animals there were to see. I’m talking about 15 rhinos, 30+ zebras, 10+ giraffes, lionesses and their cubs, buffalos, hippos, crocodiles, and gorgeous birds (non-exhaustive list!). I added two photos only not to spoil it. Unforgettable experience! I highly recommend him. And I advise you to book the morning safari like I did.

5.00We truly enjoyed this experience. Dickson came to pick us up early, helped us purchase an entrance ticket to the park, and from the very beginning, made sure we saw lions, impalas, rhinos, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, crocs, and many types of birds. While the park is close to the city, you really feel like you're in the savannah, with beautiful flora and landscapes. We paid a little more but had the van to ourselves, which meant we didn't have to drive around picking up other tourists and were among the first at the park gates (you have to be early). It was my very first safari, and it was incredible. What a day!

5.00amazing experience with our driver and guide Benson. Saw so much! Truly worth every penny. We saw rhinos, zebras, giraffes, and antelopes. It's a mini safari experience.

5.00I booked this trip the night before, with a request for 2 different pick up locations; Nairobi airport and a hotel. Also, due to working appointments, we wanted the trip to be within a specific timeline. Neither of these requests were an issue, we were picked up in time and returned to the hotel as agreed. We had an excellent trip and we spotted many animals, 3 out of the big 4, as well as hippos, crocodiles, fish eagles, maraboes and many many more. We had a pleasant break from our working day and would definetely advise to book with Benson Kungu's jungleman!

5.00The morning game drive at Nairobi National Park was absolutely magical! We entered the park just as the first light of day touched the horizon, with the city skyline fading into the distance and the savannah awakening all around us. The contrast of skyscrapers in the background and giraffes grazing in the golden morning light was surreal. Our guide’s sharp eyes spotted many animals, rhinos, lions, giraffes and countless zebras. This morning safari was the perfect start to the day – peaceful, exciting, and unforgettable. I would recommend Benson as a guide to anyone visiting Nairobi!

5.00John was a great guide/spotter/driver. He was on time to pick me up at 5:30 am at my hotel. Once inside the park he was a keen animal spotter. Throughout the course of our time we saw lions, hippos, white rhinos, giraffes, eland, impalas, gazelles, zebras, baboons, crocodiles, ostrich, warthogs. John shared many facts and stories about the animals. He was also very knowledgeable about trees and birds. We saw vultures, cranes, guinea fowl, storks, heron, spoonbills, and a cinnamon-chested bee eater. John was polite and super patient as we stopped to just watch animals and silently observe them in awe. As a solo female traveler I appreciated his graciousness. Highly recommend this excursion and John!

5.00It was an absolute pleasure having Benson as my tour guide - he was super knowledgeable and also incredibly kind. I was traveling alone and he made me feel super welcome and comfortable. It was so easy to spend the day with him!! Highly recommend:)

5.00Anyone who goes and manages to get Benson Kungu Jungleman as a tour guide you will be lucky. He is very enthusiastic, brings good energy and is very informative. Even went over time a little which was cool, we managed to see all the big 5 except the bulls. He made sure to ensure we try to see all and wouldn’t rest until we did. It was a pleasure, made my time in Kenya great I was excited to do this & would do it again.

5.00I was on this half-day trip with Benson Kungu early in April 2024. Benson is a very nice and experienced guide who knows the area very well. He has a huge knowledge about the animals in the park. Safe driver. Tour is highly recommended!
