Negombo Fish Market
Negombo was home to Sri Lankan fishermen and women who engaged in traditional fishing methods long before the city became a renowned beach destination with hundreds of beach resorts lining its sandy shore. This large fish market, located at the western end of Negombo's seashore, is the center of all morning action. The Negombo Fish Market is one of Sri Lanka's largest and most important markets, which drives Negombo's economy.

5.00Excellent tour, far exceeded our expectations. Nishan was a very knowledgeable guide. The fish market was really eye-opening as we wouldn't have ventured there on own Also drove through markets, visited Catholic Church and Hindu and Buddist temples. Great way to spend a morning, thoroughly recommend it and great value for money

5.00Super nice driver, had a wonderful time, he explained the history and took me all around to personally experience the sights. He was very accommodating and topped off the tour with ice cream! Had a really nice day! Very friendly driver!

5.00Absolutely superb! Our guide was so friendly, good humoured and so informative. He showed us bits of Negombo we would never have found on our own and told us so much history. Really pleased we did this tour and can highly recommend.

5.00This tour and driver was a 10/10!!! He catered the tour to what we wanted to see and do. He thought of everything we may need, such as umbrellas for the hot sun. He was very patient, helpful, kind and explained stuff to us along the way. He was a very safe driver and very accommodating to whatever we wanted to do or needed. We would recommend this tour and this company!!
