What To Expect

Your private guide will meet you at Kusadasi port or hotel with a sign written “ Your Name “ on it, at pre-arranged time. After greetings, drive to Ephesus in around 25 minutes.

Ancient City of Ephesus

After greeting, we will have 20 mins drive to Ephesus area. We will start visiting one of the main highlights in Turkey, Ephesus, one of the 12 cities of Ionian League (an ancient Greek district on the western coast of Asia Minor) is located near Izmir. As a port city it was a major departure point for trade routes into Asia Minor. Walk through history along marble streets lined with wonderful public buildings, among them The State Agora, Odeon, Memnius Monument, the Temple of Domitian, , Polio Fountain, Curetes Street, The Trajan Fountain, The Baths of Scholastica, Hadrian Temple, Latrina, Celcus Library, the gate of Mihridates and Mazues, Commercial Agora and The Grand Theater are two of the most impressive buildings in Ephesus. Grand theatre was built in 3rd century B.C and it was later expanded to 24.000 spectators by the Romans in the 1st century A.D.

Tugba was a great tour guide. She was exhilarating and hilarious. So full of great information. We appreciated the personalized attention. We were glad to visit the two shopping spots two. Excellent quality materials. Ephesus deserves a longer day but this tour was exactly what we needed dor our short time at the port.

We booked this private tour ahead of our cruise and it is very easy to communicate with this company. They replied to all my questions in a timely manner. We were surprised to find out that this private tour actually included a driver and a licensed professional tour guide. The driver was an experience driver and our tour guide was very knowledgeable and spoke very good English. They took us to all the tourist spots listed in their itinerary and the tour guide also helped to take some photos for us. The included lunch was so delicious and the restaurant worker was very friendly as well! We also visited a traditional Turkish carpet school/shop and learn the process of carpet making. We really enjoy this private tour and highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a fun tour in Kusadasi!

This was a great tour. We went to see how carpets are made and how they get silk. We also went to a great pottery shop. I was a great tour and the best day.

Loved this tour and will highly recommend. Our tour guide is a history major. She was very knowledgeable and explained everything very clearly and enthusiastically. Included lunch was delicious. Would rate 10+

Excellent guide service and transportation. Knowledgeable and humorous dialogue. The lunch was really good just be wary that you will end up at a carpet factory where they will try to sell you a rug!!
