Take a guided day trip from Paris to explore Normandy’s historic D-Day sites.
Start at Utah Beach, where American troops first landed, and learn about the strategic planning behind Operation Overlord. Walk along the battle-scarred coastline and hear stories of the soldiers who helped shape history.
Enjoy a pre-arranged Norman-style lunch in a charming port town before heading to Pointe du Hoc. Here, U.S. Army Rangers bravely scaled towering cliffs to capture a key German stronghold. The site remains much as it was, with bomb craters and bunkers overlooking the English Channel.
Next, visit Omaha Beach, where you'll have time to walk along the shore and reflect on one of the war’s fiercest battles.
The day ends at the American Cemetery in Colleville-sur-Mer, where nearly 10,000 soldiers are laid to rest. Stroll through the peaceful grounds and take in the powerful tribute to their sacrifice.
This immersive tour offers a moving and unforgettable look at the events of D-Day.

Daniel was an excellent tour guide! He was very knowledgeable with the history of Normandy and with Paris. He made the experience fun with his great personality and all the information he gives you along the way. It's a long day but definitely worth it! Bring phone chargers and maybe something to drink. Plenty of opportunities for rest room breaks and even a stop at a rest stop to grab food or coffee.

The locations are great. I personally did not care for our tour guide. It felt like he was constantly trying to make jokes which in my opinion was the wrong kind of tone for a trip like this. I also would have liked more location specific history. Instead our tour guide gave a brief intro of WW2 and later gave us a list of all his favorite movies, things like Enemy at the Gates, 1917, and Tora Tora Tora which have little to do with Normandy. If I could go back in time I would have gone with a smaller group or planned to spend a night somewhere in Normandy. There is a lot to see and while this tour hits all the major locations there is still so much more to see. If you've read Stephen Ambrose then you may find this tour lacking. The lunch is the worst food I had in France, but you can just buy a sandwich and snacks at the first gas station stop so be prepared for that. Some locations may feel rushed as it's a lot to see in a day and the locations can be crowded.

It is a great and moving trip. Standing on the shores of Utah Beach, seeing the bunkers where President Reagan delivered his famous speech to watching the American flags being lowered at the cemetery overlooking Omaha Beach with Taps playing was very moving and beautiful. So many young men's lives cut drastically short--sacrificing so we have the freedom we enjoy today. No words. Nuts and Bolts on the trip: The bus is nice. You stop after two hours for coffee and a restroom break on the way there and back. Lunch is a choice between fish, ham and pizza (the fish was really good, ham OK, skip the pizza) and the cider tasting was fine. Bring a charger cord for your phone because they have ports on the bus. It is a looong day but worth every minute! And you can sleep on the bus! We got back to Paris around 8:45pm--which is when Parians start eating dinner! The tour guide was very good. He knew the history well. He also played clips from speeches and movies which was helpful.

The tour guide Sam was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and excellent! The lunch was horrible. Would have rather paid for good food! The cider tasting was interesting but I would have rather spent more time at the museum. It was a rainy day and cold but well worth the visit.
