We recommend bringing a bottle of water with you and wearing a pair of comfortable shoes as there is quite a bit of walking involved
Please note that the tour departs promptly at the scheduled start time. If you are not checked in by then, the group will have to depart for Versailles without you. Once the tour has departed, we cannot guarantee your participation.

5.00It was an excellent experience. Our tour guide, Catherine was knowledgeable and seemed to enjoy sharing her knowledge with us. It was appreciated. The Palace was amazing to see inside and out. Even though the immense gardens were not in bloom they were still spectacular to view.

5.00Went with Hélène as a guide. She was great - very knowledgeable. Kept my kids entertained as well. Lots of walking and focus on the palace. Wish that there was a little more focus on the gardens, but you are free to explore on your own after the tour disperses.

4.00The guide was very informative throughout. Unfortunately, we had one couple disappear after disembarkingfrom the train and we had to wait while the guide and others tried to contact them. Then, after exiting the castle, we waited for our guide to show us to the gardens, but ended up having to stand outside in the biting cold for a good 20 minutes while she searched for someone's wife who had disappeared inside, which was unfortunate. I'm happy to say she remained very concerned about everyone's presence the entire time she was guiding us.

5.00When I booked this tour I had no idea what to expect as I am admittedly not a history buff and had very little knowledge about Versailles. To say this tour was AMAZING would be an understatement. Not only was the palace itself absolutely breathtaking, but our tour guide Amelie made the history come alive. She was charming, knowledgeable, and made what might have otherwise been a “boring” experience truly engaging. She obviously knows all the history and she conveyed it in a memorable, humorous, and accessible way.

5.00We had a great tour. Our guide was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. Easy train ride out to Versailles and went into town after the tour for lunch.
