Explore Omicho Market with a Kanazawa-born guide. The headline promise: you will eat authentic, chef-made sushi, hand-shaped before you—featuring Kanazawa classics like nodoguro (seasonal), amaebi, and other ultra-fresh local fish. This is a reputable local counter, not “tourist sushi.”
After sushi, tailor the walk: freshly fried croquettes, fluffy dashimaki, wagashi, Kaga-veg deli bites, or local tea. Your guide handles queues, budget, and English ordering, and shares vendor stories and seasonal tips—the insider view most visitors miss.
Mostly indoors and rain-friendly, easy for first-timers and families. We’ll flag photo spots and smart souvenirs. A compact blend of walk, taste, learn—your most delicious gateway to Kanazawa.

Komi was my tour guide and not only was he friendly but knowledgeable about Omicho Market. He shared the history of the area and took me to an excellent seafood restaurant where I had the ‘nodoguro’ which is black throat sea bass. It was delicious. I’m glad I got to try it being that it’s only available in the fall. He showed me the various stalls and showed me native crabs, fruits and other seasonal local vegetables . Being a foodie, I truly enjoyed the experience. I ended up going back to the same restaurant for a sushi breakfast before heading back to Tokyo. Thank you Koki for your hospitality. Will definitely recommend this tour and your company!
