  We had a great evening trying lots of different foods at 5 different establishments. We had a great group, which helped the evening along nicely. Our tour operator Kevin was fun and taught us a few things along the way. Highly recommend this tour.

  We did this tour our first day in Osaka to get a sense of the food scene, and it did not disappoint! All the locations were different (restaurant, izakaya, street food...), but the food was universally great.

  This was an extremely fun experience and we got to try so many different foods. Our guide was lovely and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone in Osaka looking to try some of the different foods!

  A week and a half and 3 cites later we are still talking about our tour with James. Yes the food was great and at places we wouldn’t have ventured into on our own. But you know sometimes a tour feels almost strained or even a little boring with the wrong guide, and you’re checking your watch? Not with James! Honestly, I was initially a bit annoyed we had a ‘foreigner’ (from London) as our guide. However, James has lived in Japan for 8 years, speaks fluent Japanese and has great insight into the culture. In fact, I realized it was better he was NOT a local since he knew what might seem strange or interesting to share with or point out to foreigners. Most importantly, James was so easy and fun to spend time with. It felt like we had a friend showing us around - and I’m old enough to be his mother so it’s not even a generational thing. He’s just an awesome guy. We do a lot of tours; most are just fine but I never feel compelled to leave a review. But after bringing up James several times in the last couple of weeks I felt I should give some kudos.

  We had the most amazing night, with a small group we enjoyed incredible food, a guided walk with tour guides who were warm, friendly and made the evening incredibly fun.
