Mississippi River

Boarding time is 6:30 p.m and and lasts until the boat cruises promptly at 7:00 pm. Cruising duration is 2 hours, ending at 9:00 p.m. During your cruise, Jazz will play throughout the night while the sun sets and stars begin to illuminate behind southern clouds. Indulge in a delicious Creole Dinner Buffet in a richly appointed dining room designed with plush Victorian style draperies and soft period lighting. Menu items may include: red beans and rice, jambalaya, Cajun Seafood Pasta, Cajun Braised Beef Brisket, Chicken & Sausage Gumbo, our signature White Chocolate Bread Pudding with Whiskey Sauce, and more! Make sure to grab a drink at our bar made of Louisiana cypress and adorned with brass railings for a warm and inviting setting. Then take the stairs to our promenade deck for a night to remember. Let the sweet breeze from the Mighty Mississippi intoxicate your senses while you dance the night away among the stars.

Bathrooms were dirty. Food was overcooked and tables were directly under the AC causing your food to get cold faster than you could eat it. Boat ride and band was nice.

The ride was fun and long but colder then we had originally anticipated. I think the combination of the time of year, being on the water, and the cold front that had moved into new Orleans was the reason it felt so cold. The ride was totally worth it. We got to watch and listen to a band play the whole time even though we got the ride without the dinner. We also had a bar available upstairs that we could get drinks at even though it wasn't as fancy as the bar downstairs in the main eating area. If I was to suggest anything it would be that if you go on the ride take extra clothing to bundle up just Incase you get cold

Good food. Bar drinks reasonable. Our server Chevelle, did a great job and went above and beyond to make sure we had what we wanted. Nice cruise on the river.

The boat ride and jazz music was a pleasant, relaxing experience. I would skip the buffet because the food was average at best. There is much better food available in NO.

The atmosphere was very nice. We enjoyed the intimate setting for dinner, the live music, and the smooth ride. A few of us did not care for the food. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
