This is a delightful experience. The food was good, the band was good, but the beauty of running the river in a paddlewheel was downright magical.
Not enough options on the buffet for ppl who do not eat Cajun or seafood

Overall, my family said it was a nice dinner cruise and a memorable experience. It was our first time visiting New Orleans, and I had heard great things about this particular dinner cruise, so we were excited to try it — especially since it was for my mom’s 65th birthday. My parents and family really enjoyed themselves, and it was special to celebrate together on the water. However, there was one disappointing part. When my husband and I tried to get tickets, the cruise counter attendant told us the boat was completely booked. Later, our family informed us there were plenty of open seats, and it seemed like we could have gotten on after all, which was frustrating. As for the food, it was about a 2/5 — definitely not the highlight of the night. The music, though, was a bright spot. The live band on the Creole Queen was decent, and we always enjoy live performances, which helped add to the atmosphere. Overall, I would rate the experience a 5/10. It was a memorable night for the family, but there’s definitely room for improvement, especially with ticketing, entertainment, and food quality.
