5.00Nice to have a personal tour and she met me at the ship. In the beginning said I wanted to shop and eat local food. My guide was insistent on showing me sites that I was not really interested in. I was disappointed once my tour was coming to an end stores were closing for their siesta. Wish I would have insisted more, this is what I want but thought some stores would still be open.

5.00Highly recommended. Palermo is unique , beautiful in parts and gritty in parts - so it was so helpful to have a guide . Alessandro was a lovely young man . Very knowledgeable . He was thoughtful toward my husband who had a knee problem, kept the tour pacy for my teenagers and he adapted the tour so that we could walk by my grandparents home ( as was many years ago) kind , considerate and really good fun ! He even made sure we got our train home ! I really appreciated the balance of history , culture and contemporary he managed to tell us about . The arancini was delicious too !
