Pizza is probably the world’s favourite food, and where better to learn than Italy? You will learn how to make tender, flexible yeast dough that stretches to almost paper-thinness, and even the trick for a flavorful yet light tomato sauce. Even if you bake pizza in your own oven, these techniques are universal and using them really makes a difference.
With the pizzaiolo, you’ll make your very own pizza, you’ll stretch it, sauce it, bake it, slice it. It will be the best pizza you ever tasted, and you made it yourself!
Then, everybody will learn how to make chocolate gelato and the cone to put it in. Your chef will also take you through the history of Italian ice cream - perfect!

5.00From the reception to the end, the team on site was very friendly.. Marcello our ‘boss’ was very sympathetic in addition to his professionalism. Now know all the basics of how to make delicious gelato and pizza. In addition to tasting our works, there was also plenty of wine, a really successful evening! Many thanks to Marcello and the hardworking helper Elvira!

5.00Our pizza and gelato cooking class hosted by chef Lidia tonight was lots of fun! Talented with a genuine passion for teaching—added value to our entire experience. The kitchen facility is beautifully accommodated and super clean.
Great evening activity, highlight of our trip! Well structured session & great hosts!

5.00Lydia and Marcello were great hosts. The evening was well structured, delivered at a good pace and overall we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The pizza and gelato were delicious, one of the best pizzas we've ever had, and the class was certainly one of the highlights of our trip! We would definitely recommend to others considering booking this experience.
I highly recommend this experience whether with friends or family!

A fun way to spend an evening in Palermo

5.00What a fun evening!! We were met by Lidia our funny and sweet chef for the evening outside the cooking school . We were a small group of six in total which was fabulous as it was intimate and fun. Lidia showed us how to make the dough and knead it so it is soft and fluffy ( hint be gentle) then We all made our own and Lidia made sure we had it to perfection. While the dough was resting we made vanilla gelato which was them put in a gelato maker. Wine time was in between the two!! Once our dough rested we were shown how to stretch it and top it. Then we each were taught how to put the pizza on the paddle in the oven. They take no time at all to cook and then the best part we ate it hot from the oven, chewy crust. Light and fluffy and just delicious. The gelato was amazing too!! Lidia took a Polaroid of us and gave us a list of restaurants in Palermo they like. We also got the recipes. A really fun evening. The company is great at sending reminders leading up to and the day of the workshop. Highly recommend.

5.00I booked the course as a solo traveler and had the best evening with my group. Our cook was Enza, who was at work with a lot of love, commitment and joy in her work. We made super delicious pizza and ice cream. Beautiful! Enza also provided us with various wines and water.
