The Do Eat Better Experience food tour is a walking tour around the historical center of the city. The tourist is guided by a Foodie, a local buddy able to explain every detail of the selected restaurants, their preparations, and the relevant history/curiosities.
Do Eat Better Experience tours are a mix of high-quality gastronomy as a way of showing Italian culture and lifestyle and a walking experience together with a local friend. This is the reason why we accept small groups only: we want to focus on a genuine exchange and give to each tourist the highest attention possible.
Please, note that the tour is always run in English and Italian; other languages upon request.

5.00Carlo was a great food tour guide through the streets of Palermo. We did an evening tour, and even though the markets were closed, we were still able to experience the Scilian and Palermo street snacks through the districts. Don't be fooled, you will not be hungry at the end!!! This was a great experience to complete at the start of our trip, as we know what our favorite snacks to order are for the rest of our time in Scily

5.00My food tour with Nadia ended up being a private one since the other participants had to cancel at the last minute. This was an excellent blend of history and beloved street food experience. Nadia was informative, engaging and friendly and of course she knows her street food very well! All the food tasting we had was tasty, filling and plentiful! From the quintessential panelle to melanzane, from spongy sfincione to the ‘not for the faint of heart’ pani ca ' Meusa (spleen sandwich) and the Palermitan queen Arancina! Sprinkled in between the many food stops are visits to historic places in Palermo historic center. Nadia provided many entertaining stories to these historical places. No meal is complete without something to satisfy the sweet tooth, cannoli or gelato? I opted for my favorite pistachio gelato to round out this belly satisfying evening, I highly recommend this food tour to those visiting this beautiful city and you better come with a big appetite!

5.00Annalisa did a great job! Besides street food, we also learned a lot about Panama. Also made the tour very varied. We can only highly recommend registering for this tour. In our view, there is no reason for criticism.

5.00The street food tour of Palermo is highly recommended. Annalisa was our guide. She is very sympathetic and took us expertly through the city. We were allowed to taste the typical Sicilian food in several restaurants , drinks were also included. Annalisa told us something about it very impressively. She also knew a lot about the city's past and gave us very good tips for trips. The tour was very entertaining and you felt like you were out with friends.

5.00On a beautiful day we visited 4 eateries and tasted the snacks of Sicily. Carlo took the group into account and could tell nicely about the food. The pace could have been a bit faster at times. We were with baby as a couple and this was doable!
