  This tour is full of interesting and beautiful sights and fun information. The exertion level is enough that you feel like you did something, but not too much that you’re exhausted. Ron was a great tour guide and had many funny stories to tell. He was also very knowledgeable about the area and we learned a lot!

  We had a lovely time! Captain Ron is a mobile university! We took a nice leisurely ride through the neighborhoods, with stops to look at the native plants, the geological structure of the hills and mountains we could see, and of course the nice houses along the route. We were on electric bicycles which I don’t think was absolutely necessary EXCEPT when it came to getting up the long gradual hill into the park portion of the tour, and then I was VERY glad I had it. When we got to the park we walked up the trail next to the beautiful creek with the palm trees and learned about the indigenous people and the planes and geology there. The ride back was along a different route going pretty quickly.

  Great 4 hour tour! Our guide was a geologist, botanist, zoologist combined into one. The bike ride and hike were fairly easy. Snacks and water were provided. Indian Canyon is so beautiful.

  Ron was a great guide. He explained the historical, cultural & architectural background of the Palm Springs area. We especially appreciated his explanation of Native American practices & traditions. He kept a measured, safe pace on the cycling part of the trip, and throughout the hike in Andreas Canyon. This was the second time we did the bike & hike adventure, and Ron did an excellent job. We would do it again, & we recommend this trip.

  This bike and canyon hike tour was a highlight of our Palm Springs visit.   Incredible experience with Joe from Big Wheel Tours! Great overview of the beautiful homes/neighborhoods of Palm Springs, then lovely ride out to Indian Canyon. The hike was more of a nature walk, but Joe’s knowledge shared with us was exceptional. 100% recommend this tour!
