Your Passenger Bobsleigh Experience begins with an orientation about your ride and track etiquette. You will then be shuttled to your start position where you will be fitted with a helmet. You will meet your pilot, and with the assistance of the track crew, be seated in the sled and go through the final safety checks. Listen as your team’s names are being announced on the big speakers! Once the control tower gives your sled the green light, track crew will give you a push, and you, your pilot, and your two fellow participants are off! As you will accelerate down the track, lean into the corners to assist your steering pilot in reaching top speeds of 125+ km/hr in the final corner. The uphill outrun will slow you to a stop at the finish dock, where the track crew will assist you to exit the sled. High five with your crew and line up for your commemorative photo. You have mastered the world's fastest track!

This was a true highlight on our trip to Whistler! Really enjoyed learning about sliding sports, how the track is maintained, and the history of the Sliding Centre. The ride itself was even more than we expected-- what an adrenaline rush!! Don't avoid this because of age -- our group was 60+ and absolutely loved it. And know that the ticket money goes to support a non-profit dedicated to sliding sports :)

Amazing experience as a pilot and brakeman. Nothing like going down the slide at 106 km/hr. Would do it again in heartbeat!

This is a first class operation who put customer safety first, providing candid information to riders on the joys of the experience and importantly the potential risks.

The track, team, services and attention to detail were extremely thorough and informative, although a little worrying when told of the risks. I was extremely impressed with the fact they let you ‘pull out’ with a full refund if you don’t feel confident. It’s definitely not for the faint hearted or people with previous or existing injuries (particularly back). The ride itself is very intense, the speed and G-forces are something I’ve never experienced before. I woke up stiff and sore the following day with big bruises LOL I’m glad I did it, but wouldn’t do it again, once is enough LOL

Definitely not for the faint of heart. But for those that want a thrill you won’t ever forget, and an experience you can only find in Whistler, this is a great activity. My wife and I are 51 and in “average” shape, and found it very tolerable and fun - no residual pain or soreness. But if you have any of the conditions they warn you about, don’t try to fake it, it is no joke.

Be prepared to go fast! They made us feel comfortable by explaining safety procedures and meeting the team before the launch. The picture is nice too as part of the package.
