You'll experience Rio's historic centre and revitalised old port district by electric pedicab, a fun, safe and sustainable way to breathe in centuries of the city's stories and appreciate its beauty.

We'll meet in front of the Municipal Theatre, and from there embark on a tour of some of the most popular sites of Lapa, the city centre and port. Along the way you'll be able to stop at the attractions, hear about the significance of the site, and take photos. Our itinerary is highly Instagramable!

Our modern pedicabs visit many places that are inaccessible to cars, and cover three times more ground than is possible on a walking tour. They are also a joyful means of transport, and unlike a car they allow you to soak in the atmosphere of the city.

As much as possible we are flexible with the itinerary, and will try to substitute sites if guests have already visited any. At the end we will be glad to drop you at any of the museums, cultural sites or restaurants we pass on the tour.

Palácio Pedro Ernesto, home to the Municipal Chamber of Rio de Janeiro, is a striking example of neoclassical architecture in the heart of the city. Built in the early 20th century, this historic building has served as the seat of the city's legislative body since its inauguration in 1923. This was our second visit to Rio and Mike took us to places we had not been to before. The pedicab is great and being on the back, I was able to see the reactions of people as we went by. Mike was able to pick us up and drop us back to the cruise port, which was great. We will definitely get in touch with Mike, when we visit Rio again!!
Best tour we have done! Highly recommend great to really feel the vibe of the city

Michael was a great guide and he tried hard for me to get the best value, also created beautiful photo opportunities . His knowledge in Brazil and Rio history was amazing, and he also had a lot of local tips. We have covered a lot of places that I would not be able to do myself on the foot. I felt very safe the whole time, and truly enjoyed the ride.

Nice way to explore the city: you will quickly get to different places in the old center of Rio. You discover nice places. Through this eco way of traveling you also get in touch with the population who are interested in the bike. Guide knows a lot about the history of Brazil.

Awesome tour of Lapa and the surrounding areas. 6 of us including grandparents and kids (5 and 8yo) so it’s hard to find a tour and pace that make everyone happy but this did the trick! Michael and Carlos were awesome guides. We covered a lot of ground and didn’t have to sweat in the heat to get there like with a walking tour. The kids loved being on the bikes and Michael narrated as we went so I didn’t have to spend half the time corralling children and was able to actually listen and learn. My parents have been to Rio nearly 20 times and Michael took us to places they’d never seen. He also tailored the stops to things he thought would interest us. We mostly stayed out of the sun (bonus with our post-beach day sunburns) and Michael provided water at the first stop and checked in periodically to see if we wanted more. I asked him to make sure we had a couple chances for the kids to go to the bathroom and he obliged :) He also pointed out places we might want to come back and spend more time and even offered to send us a list of them on WhatsApp. Plus, it only took the morning and we still have time for beach/pool in the afternoon :) Overall awesome…would definitely recommend!

This was one of the most fun tours I've been on in any city. I got to see so much and the pace was perfect. I learned so much about Rio. I really felt like I was getting to know the city.

Highly recommend! It was very informative and filled with all kinds of sites. Since it's still carnaval time, we passed through a lot of party crowds but it was all with ease and we even made stops and watched people dancing and enjoying life.
