  Ryan was a fab guide and made the whole experience super fun! Seeing the sealions was one of the highlights of our trip and baby penguins are adorable!

  Fabulous experience! As a complete novice kayaker it was a wonderful introduction. Ryan gave clear instructions and inspired confidence . The whole day was a joy, seals , snorkelling , a tour of beautiful Penguin island with a knowledge able guide to make it even more interesting. A really memorable experience .   Fantastic trip with our tour guide Ryan! We loved it all, especially seeing the sea lions! Ryan was extremely informative, guided us through some tricky waves, provided a great lunch and helped rescue a lost phone! Highly recommend for anyone visiting Perth!

  Was an incredible day with your guide Ryan who was very helpful, informative and told us all about the wildlife and islands. My friend and I weren’t the most experienced Kayakers and yet he made us feel safe and constantly checked in with us, very friendly and have recommended the tour to other friends.

  We had a wonderful trip today kayaking to and exploring penguin island. Ryan was a fantastic tour guide and was very knowledgeable about local wildlife and the history of the region. We saw dolphins, sea lions, a penguin and many king skinks. We felt very safe and supported throughout the whole trip, even after winds picked up in the afternoon. Thank you for a great day :)

  The kayaking experience was excellent. The tour guide met us on time at the designated location. Ryan was very good and informative on how to operate and handle our kayaks. The 3 km paddle along with the track on pelican Island was an enjoyable experience. The lunch prepared was high-quality and well done. The planning of the trip was well met and I enjoyed it. Greatly snorkelling was good. And the seals and other wildlife were well within viewable range. I would gladly repeat this adventure again and look forward to further Tours with Capricorn.

  Picturesque turquoise blue waters - I had such an amazing time, hosted by a fantastic guide It was a great way to spend my first day visiting Perth and surrounds. Loved every moment, especially the quiet away from the bustling city area. Highly recommend for those who are active and love to experience the water of the Westside.

  Recently relocated to Perth, kayaking and snorkelling at Penguin Island was an absolute must-do! 🛶🤿. We saw so many sea lions sunbathing, king skinks roaming the island, and even a cute little furry penguin.Such a lovely group of people on the tour too!

  

  

  

  

• A Surprise Sunshine Kayak Adventure with Capricorn Seakayaking

  We almost cancelled this trip, to be honest. The day before, the weather in Perth was horrible - raining, super windy, and cold. I figured since I couldn’t get my money back anyway, I’d just show up and see how it went on the day. When we got to the launch point, we were still a bit 50-50 because it was still cloudy, windy, and cold, but I figured why not? The team at Capricorn Seakayaking was awesome though. They were super thorough with all the safety stuff and gave us a bunch of tips and tricks about kayaking in general, which made me feel a lot more comfortable. After the briefing, we set off to see the sealions and just kayaked through some really beautiful, clear waters. The best part? The sun came out, and by the time we reached Penguin Island, it turned into such a nice, warm day - totally unexpected but awesome! On Penguin Island, we had a really yummy and refreshing lunch. We took a little walk around the island, checked out the wildlife, and finished up with a swim/snorkel. The water was so refreshing, and the whole vibe of the place was just perfect. The trip back was a bit more wavy, but the team had given us great instructions, so we made it back to the main island with no issues. There were some other guests though who didn’t exactly follow the instructions, and let’s just say it made the air a bit anxious for all of us! 😂 Afterward, we helped pack everything up, which felt nice and was a good way to end the day. Overall, this was a really fun and informative tour. We learned a ton about Western Australia’s history, wildlife, and kayaking in general. I’d definitely recommend it and would totally do something like this again - probably even more eagerly next time!
