The Leaning Tower of Pisa is the bell tower of the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, in the famous Piazza del Duomo (a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987) of which it is the most famous monument for its characteristic slope, a symbol of Pisa and among the iconic symbols of Italy.

Beat the notoriously long lines and admire both the tower and the cathedral at your own pace. The Tower is the third oldest structure in Piazza del Duomo after the cathedral and the baptistery.

Head directly to the Leaning Tower and show your ticket at the entrance to access your reserved visit.

When you choose a time slot (10am–12pm, 3pm–5pm, or 8pm–9pm), your ticket will be for any time inside that range, depending on what’s available.

The Leaning Tower is absolutely amazing to see up close. A must see. However, I did not get to go into the cathedral. I went at my allocated time slot and the cathedral was closed & was told to come back in an hour. When I got back, the cathedral was still closed and waited around for 45mins and was told they weren’t sure when they will be opening. Unfortunately I had to leave as I couldn’t wait around any longer. I reached out to the company I bought the ticket from & asked if I could get a partial refund. They said they will get back to me but they didn’t. I followed up with the company & still have not heard from them.
Cathedral more impressive than the tower. Worth the visit.

You still need to stand in a short line to be let in at your time slot. Get in line 5 minutes prior to entry time. All bags must be checked into lockers beforehand, but it’s complimentary with ticket and very easy. The cathedral is more impressive than the tower. Admission into the Baptistery (free standing dome building) is not included with this ticket.

Beautiful museums and nice clean grounds. The climb up the tower wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. The view from the top is nice.

Not worth the money you can book directly with the website and they have zero flexibility so if anything comes up you’re out of luck. Also I asked about shifting my reservation and they didn’t even bother to reply.

Pisa reminded me to find beauty in the unexpected — even when things ‘lean,’ they can still stand tall. I came to Pisa for the tower but left with memories of warmth, laughter, and the simple joy of discovery. Visiting Pisa filled me with gratitude — for travel, for history, and for the wonder of God’s creation. Pisa is a treasure! The Piazza dei Miracoli is breathtaking, and seeing the Leaning Tower up close was surreal.

October was a good period to visit the tower of Pisa, still a lot of people, but not crazy much. A little unclear what kind of bag you could bring into the tower, until it turned out that you could not have any bag at all. As a diabetic who always carries the most necessary things with me, I had to explain both once and twice before I was let in with my little bag. Fun experience to have been into the tower.

E Tickets up front which was perfect . Time slot. Queue went quickly. No bags allowed and no stopping for a rest. Great views
