You need to climb 251 steps to reach at the top of Pisa Tower and you need to strictly come on time, if you are late you will be denied entry.

Toilets are available in the two museums and can only be used by visitors with a ticket.
For safety reasons, children who will not have turned 8 by the end of this year are not permitted to enter the Tower.
Your entry timing may vary by 90 minutes from the chosen time on busy days, if you make a booking you are accepting this time change adjustment on busy days. If your time is changed you can visit the Cathedral first and save some time.
Opera della Primaziale Pisana provides a cloakroom, reserved for those who visit the Tower. The service is free. Please arrive 15 minutes before the time printed on your ticket. Hand bags/bags/luggage must be left at the cloakroom. Use your ticket to deposit your items in your locker.
To reach leaning tower of Pisa from Pisa Centrale will take 20-25 mins by bus, walking is 3 KMs and private taxis are also available, please ensure to reach on time at the Pisa Tower as late entry is not allowed.

1.00DO NOT BOOK ANY ITALY TOURS WITH BINGE TOURS. This tour company (Binge Tours) is somehow based out of India (?!) not Italy, which I only found out much later. At the time of the booking the commitment was to send tickets and the audio guide on Nov 2 (the tour was on Nov 9). When they didn’t send anything on Nov 2, I messaged them and they remained non-responsive. Viator is entirely useless when the tour operator is non-responsive so don’t assume they will help. They finally sent the tickets 20 hours before the tour. I could not use the audio guide because you have to download an app and access the link via a QR code, which would have been fine if I was at home but I’m traveling and don’t have my computer so I could not access the QR code on my phone from my phone. At least in the end I had the tickets so the day trip up to Pisa and back was not an entire waste. But never booking with this company again.
Well worth the effort.

1.00We are on a cruise. There was severe wind, rain, thunderstorms and 15’ seas. The port visit was cancelled due to the severe weather conditions. That’s the risk you take when you don’t book through the cruise line. The cruise line refunds your money when there are cancellations for this reason. Our tickets, through Viator, are non-refundable. On the other hand, Viator offers many more choices and they are less expensive.

5.00I highly recommend taking the timed entrance tickets to the learning tower of Pisa. When your time slot is due, you are ushered in with no waiting. The walk up the tower is amazing and should not be missed

4.00We were with our two children in Pisa and of course the visit to the Leaning Tower could not be missed. Even if you have seen it countless times in pictures – in real life it is simply impressive! The whole square (“Piazza dei Miracoli”) is beautifully maintained, with green lawns, the cathedral and the baptismal church – everything seems almost like it is carved from marble. The children found it exciting to see how crooked the tower really is, and had fun taking the typical “hold the tower” photos 😊 The organization is good, the tickets can be obtained easily online or directly on site, and the atmosphere is very relaxed despite many visitors. A great destination for families – steeped in history, photogenic and somehow magical. Anyone travelling in Tuscany should definitely have seen this place!

5.00What a fantastic experience getting to climb to the top of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. I didn’t think it would happen? But it was an amazing experience that certainly ticked my bucket list.
