4.00Our family had limited time at Pisa and got tickets through Viator as the official website does not have any tickets for the day. We really enjoyed the tower and cathedral. A few tips. 1. Download the ticket in PDF form and audio guide the night before through WiFi. My entrance time on ticket (3:45pm) was 15 minutes before the actual time I booked (4pm) So check your ticket and get there on time. 2. If you have any bags even a tiny purse, check them in the Cloakroom prior to getting on line. You need your ticket to get a free locker there. Both Cloakroom and bathroom/WC locations are listed on the ticket. Also need your ticket to get in WC for free, or you will have to pay. 3. Wear comfortable shoes as there are 251 steps. 4. Audio guide gives you history of the tower and will enhance your experience if you are interested in that. 5. If you happen to get there around sunset, you will watch the beautiful golden glow in all the structures.

1.00Apart from the tower is leaning there is not much point. For the cathedral, the front is empty you have to step forward to see beautiful things

1.00This isn't an audio guide of the Cathedral as stated (Timed Entrance to Leaning Tower & Cathedral with Audioguide). Information from Viator only came through at 16:30pm on the day before our visit. We were travelling on a cruise & didn't have access to a mobile network whilst at sea. You have to download an app for YoTours to start, then figure out how to get the downloads of tickets & Audioguide. You're now informed that you need your smartphone with headsets x 2, if 2 people listening. Impossible with a smartphone. You would need to share a pair of earbuds. I wouldn't bother with the Audioguide. Just get the entrance tickets to the Leaning Tower.

4.00The Tower was great, but my ticket included the cathedral and it was closed all day today. You need to check your bags in at the cloak room across the square before going up.

3.00We were told that we had to wear long pants or else we would be denied entry. There were many people wearing shorts and were not turned away. Please advise customers ahead of time that they will be able to enter with shorts as this is misleading.

4.00The tours of the tower and the cathedral are really to be done!!! As for the audio guides we have never seen the color, it is not for lack of having asked before accessing each monument but no one knew the existence, nor any explanation on our reservations. At 8€ per person it is 32€ for my share of lost!!!

1.00I could have saved myself money by just booking the ticket myself. No one was there. You basically do everything yourself.
