Please be advised that if your booking does not include tickets, you are responsible for purchasing your own for the 12:30–13:30 time slot. Please note that this is a peak period with limited availability, and having a booking without tickets does not guarantee entry. To avoid disappointment, or the inconvenience of finding the museum at full capacity upon your arrival, we strongly recommend purchasing your tickets in advance.

Meet with our licensed Tour Guide at 08:20am and depart immediately for Delphi archaeological site with our air-conditioned coach. The drive will last approximately 3 hours with a small stop of 25 minutes at a local cafe for a rest-break.
Delphi was the cultural and religious heart of the Hellenic world. Set in a stunning landscape, once considered the center of the world, where, according to mythology, two eagles sent by Zeus to find the navel of the world, met. The site, once sacred to Mother Earth and guarded by the serpent Python, later became Apollo’s sanctuary, built by Cretans arriving at Kirrha (the port of Delphi) accompanied by the god in the form of a dolphin. Such myths were celebrated in the Delphic festivals, like the Pythia and the Delphinia, with music and athletic competitions. Explore unique monuments such as the Treasury of the Athenians, the Temple of Apollo, the Athenian Stoa, and the Polygonal Wall with our expert guide, ensuring you don’t miss a thing.

5.00Our tour guide was great! He gave us some history of the area on the bus ride. The information he provided at the museum wouldn’t be found on any plaque by an artifact. I appreciated that. It’s all day but well worth it.

4.00Wonderful overall and a great tour guide. Lots of historic facts and beautthings to see. Our guide was fluent in Eniah but could use a good Enish pronunciation class as many words were mispronounced making it not always easy to follow her. It wasn't a deal breaker but definitely noticeable and distracting at times.

5.00We had a wonderful trip to Delphi with our guide Eleni. She was very experienced and knowledgeable. The day was cool and sunny. We opted for adding the lunch to our tickets and we are so glad we did. The lunch was delicious. Great day!

5.00The Delphi Archeological Site was amazing in its own right but having a knowledgeable and engaged tour guide made the experience even better. It was helpful to hear the history and significance of each exhibit in real time. The experienced and talented bus driver was a real bonus as well, as it was a couple of hours from Athens and the streets of Arachova were narrow and busy (but beautiful). We were also free to take in the views of the countryside and mountains on the way.

5.00We absolutely loved this trip Our guide was fabulous - he has a major in Greek history and archeology and was very informative. Check in was quick and we departed and arrived back in time . The time at the historical site or the museum was just enough without being rushed. Archova is such a quaint little town to stop for a late lunch. Highly recommend this

5.00Enjoyed the trip a lot. The guide Ioannis was very knowledgable. We had enough time to visit the museum and the monuments.and Arachova is just amazing. I wish maybe we could have spent there more time as I had to choose between eating or sightseeing.

5.00Excellent tour though very long drive. Yannis was extremely knowledgeable and prepared with Greek history and Delphi in particular. Climb to the top was not that bad at all. Vistas are amazing. Museum interesting. Only comment would be they need a better mike system for the guided tour. Very hard to hear. This is a great tour. Book it!!

5.00I would recommend this tour. Well organised, on-time, good guide and driver, spotlessly clean coach. If the museum visit felt slightly rushed, that wasn't the fault of the guide or tour company – there are just a lot of people going through. Saw everything I wanted to see. I bought the option that included entry tickets and lunch, which worked out well. The pre-paid lunch (eaten at close to 3pm, after the museum and site visit) is so generous that you won't have to spend money on dinner when you get back to Athens. Lunch included a vegetarian option which the people who ate it found delicious. The options include chicken, pork etc. as well. I normally travel independently and don't do tours, but in this case trying to get to the site by myself didn't seem very easy and the tour was the best option for me. Very much enjoyed the day. Got back around 7pm but if city traffic is very heavy you may get back later.
