We are a small kennel who is passionate about huskies and we love to share this passion with travellers from all over the world.
we normally take up to 4 people at the time so we can offer you a personal and unique experience.
During the winter time, you might also experience the Northern Lights during the trip if you are lucky!
Remember the photo camera dogs love to be photographed, the dogs are very happy when guests arrive so be ready to take pictures and very important warm lingerie to yourself and good mode

First we will put on warm clothes, especially during the winter time since it can be really cold on the sled. then we introduce you to our dogs. They all love cuddles and you will love it too after meeting them! Then, we will show you the sled and how to drive it if you wish. But Health and fitness must be good to be able to drive yourself This is for the safety of you and the dogs . The trip on the sled will last around 45 minutes to 60 minutes, depending on conditions and temperature and will allow you to discover the amazing landscapes of the famous Alta river an to see how much our dogs love to go running. After the tour, you can cuddle again our lovely huskies and we will also offer you a warm beverage (coffee, tea or hot chocolate). The whole experience will last around two hours, but if you just want to go dogsledding, it will last 45 minutes to 60 minutes, depending on conditions and temperature, the time depends on temperature and weather. We drive on the dogs' terms and always think of the dogs Please note that we take only 4 people maximum at the same time during the dog sledding trip in order to provide you a unique and personnal experience in all security.

5.00Ole picked us up one time and took us to his home where we met his wife, Nani (sp?) and his helper Anna. He explained everything to us and suited us up in the warmest most wonderful suit and gave us four mittens. We met the dogs and have a great time playing with the dogs and petting them and getting doggy kisses. They help me into the sleigh which had reindeer skin to sit on, then hooked up the dogs. My husband was in a separate sleigh. Apollo and Vulcan where the dog said led my sleigh and there were six dogs total per sleigh. We then went on a 10 km sleigh ride we are the dogs rested every now and then to eat some snow cool off. We went through forest and over fields and even across a road. Sometimes they were hills and it got bumpy but I like that part. It was dark out and snowing some and it was just a wonderful experience. Everyone was so nice. We got more time with the dogs and then went into have some hot chocolate and biscuits and sat down the kitchen table and talked with Ole. Nani and Anna. It was like sitting around the table with friends and had a very nice conversation met their two cats and then eventually had to leave and return to our cruise ship. This was my favorite experience on this vacation. So relaxed, so fun. Thank you Ole and Nani and Anna!

5.00We booked this because…well why not, we were here as a stop on a cruise. But oh my, what a magical experience this was!! Not only did we get to love on a whole bunch of sweet doggies, some of those doggies also happily pulled us through an absolutely stunning, completely silent landscape for an hour. Ule was gracious and his love for his dogs was evident. Don’t miss this one.

5.00Personalized experience meeting, family and dogs. Delightful evening ride through the woods and meadows. got to spend time with the dogs while they were being harnessed to the sleds and afterwards. Highly recommend this experience.

5.00No need to look any further for a high-quality, accommodating dog sled ride in Alta. This is the one to book! so much fun to meet the dogs! Warm thermal suits, boots and even gloves were provided. The sleds were extremely comfortable to sit in and the views of the local area were gorgeous.! The owner was wonderful to deal with and provided warm hospitality to all of us.!

5.00This excursion was one of the highlights of our trip. It was an indescribable feeling to go on a sleigh ride with the dogs. The guide and his team were wonderful hosts. We were picked up directly from the cruise ship and later driven back there. After a brief introduction, getting dressed, and getting to know the dogs, we set off. We drove for about 45 minutes through a magical snowy landscape. Afterwards, we were able to cuddle with all the dogs and were treated to hot drinks and pastries. 5 out of 5 stars, it was perfect. Thank you for the experience.
Highly recommend this experience for those who enjoy beautiful scenery.

5.00An amazing morning spent getting to know the huskies and learning about their routines and training. All of the dogs were very friendly and full of energy, didn’t get a chance to make a fuss of all of them. Ole sent us a message with pick up details from Alta port and took us to his house and kennels where the huskies are kept. The scenery is beautiful in the Alta Valley which is breathtaking. We were kitted out in all in one suits which kept us nice and warm as temperatures were cold as expected inside the Artic Circle. We were with another couple so three sleds were prepared with six huskies on each. Ole gave us clear instructions on how to drive the sled and the opportunity for you both to have a go driving if you wanted. I had the full experience driving as my wife wasn’t that confident but I must say it was easy to control as long as you pay attention! We were out for about 50 mins and travelled about 10km in total. We then had time for photos and had hot chocolate and biscuits in the house and got to see the schedules the dogs have so that they get substantial rest days and how they are chosen for the sled runs. Overall it was an amazing experience in a unique friendly atmosphere rather than a commercial experience with hundreds of dogs. I would definitely go back if we were to visit again.

5.00Great experience. Very friendly family business. Great handling of the Huskies. We were pulled in two sleds through the wonderful landscape. And at the end saw three more moose.

5.00This experience exceeded our expectations; we had a very personal service from start to finish. We were collected from the port as agreed and drove to the Husky house, we were kitted out in cold weather gear and met the dogs. There were 30 of them who were so excited to meet us...and we spent some time getting to know some of them whilst others were prepared for the sledge. We went out in two sledges my husband in one with the owner and me with his Assistant...it was exhilarating. After we had gone through some snowy forest, the owner suggested my husband drive me...after a few minutes of explanation we were off. We were out for just under an hour and it was such a fantastic and fun experience with beautiful scenery. On our return, we were able to meet more of the dogs who were clearly well looked after. We were then invited into the owners home for a hot drink and snack whilst he talked about the dogs and some of the races he had competed in. We were then driven back to the port.
