Soon after pick up at your accommodation in Cape Town we will travel through the city center for a drive-by city tour to view historical monuments and buildings. This will allow visitors to gain more insight into the rest of the day tour.

Our first stop will be in the Bo-Kaap (Cape Malay Quarters) where you will have your first photo opportunity with the colorful houses as your backdrop. Your tour guide/driver will share interesting stories about the Bo-Kaap colorful houses and their Malaysian and Indonesian heritage.

5.00Leon was our guide for the day - had a few issues with connecting at pickup - the cruise center is extremely busy and chaotic. Once we got connected, had a wonderful day. Leon is very knowledgeable, and gave us lots of info about the area and the history of the country. He was very patient with adhoc requests (for example, we asked to take the road up Table Mountain to the cable car terminal) - these are the kinds of things you can do on a private tour. We saw amazing things that day - the Cape of Good Hope is amazingly beautiful - also saw Ostriches, Baboons, etc. Leon got us to the airport on time and was a wonderful host.
