  *My Day Trip from Casablanca to Fez* I embarked on a day trip from Casablanca to Fez, one of Morocco's most historic and culturally rich cities. The journey began early in the morning, and I hired a driver for the day to ensure a smooth and hassle-free trip. *The Journey* The drive from Casablanca to Fez took approximately 4 hours, passing through scenic landscapes and quaint Berber villages. Our driver, who was knowledgeable about the region's history and culture, shared interesting anecdotes and insights about the areas we passed through. *Exploring Fez* Upon arriving in Fez, we headed straight to the ancient Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Medina is a labyrinth of narrow streets and alleys, filled with vibrant souks, historic mosques, and stunning architecture. We spent hours exploring the Medina, marveling at the intricate tile work, and haggling over prices in the bustling souks. *Must-see Attractions* Some of the must-see attractions in Fez include: 1. *Al-Attarine Madrasa*: A beautifully restored 14th-century madrasa with stunning tile work and architecture. 2. *Bou Inania Madrasa*: Another impressive madrasa with intricate stone carvings and wooden doors. 3. *Dar Batha Museum*: A museum showcasing traditional Moroccan crafts and art. 4. *Fez Medina*: The ancient city center, filled with souks, mosques, and historic buildings. *Lunch in Fez* For lunch, we stopped at a local riad, where we enjoyed traditional Moroccan cuisine, including tagines and couscous. The food was delicious, and the hospitality was warm and welcoming. *Afternoon in Fez* After lunch, we visited the *Jewish Quarter*, also known as the Mellah, which is home to several historic synagogues and cemeteries. We also stopped by the *Dar el-Makhzen*, the Royal Palace, which is still used by the King of Morocco for official events. *Return to Casablanca* As the day drew to a close, we began our journey back to Casablanca, reflecting on the incredible experiences and sights we had encountered. The drive back was smooth, and we arrived in Casablanca just in time for dinner. *Conclusion* My day trip to Fez was an unforgettable experience, filled with history, culture, and stunning architecture. The city's rich heritage and warm hospitality made it a truly special destination.
