Explore the amazing and only market in the world that sell on the train track as well as enjoy sightseeing on the private boat for the canal tour to the first Floating market in Thailand.

The tour start by pick up from your hotel in Bangkok at 7.00 a.m. or 9:00 a.m. and depart to MaeKlong railway market by a private air conditioned vehicle. Watch the train passing over the food vendors while exploring the market and taste some Thai fruits and desserts.

Continue to the pier and on board the long tail boat for the canal tour to Damnoensaduak Floating Market. Taste authentic local fruits, desserts and drink as well as enjoy some personal time for shopping at the floating market before return to your hotel in Bangkok by private air conditioned vehicle.

Tour options for travelers :

1) Tour start at 07.00 a.m. - 13:30 p.m.

2) Tour start at 09.00 a.m. - 15:30 p.m.

My wife and I were lucky enough to have Time as our guide and Mr. Vee as our driver! Time was super personable and knowledgeable answering any questions we had about Thai culture and the markets we visited. This tour is the perfect distance outside of Bangkok for a day trip without feeling too rushed. The boat ride on the canals was definitely a highlight! The tour feels a bit overpriced and the nonrefundable cancellation policy is extreme, but it definitely reflects in the quality of the guide. Thank you for a memorable day Time!

I was picked up on time and went directly to the railroad. My wife and I really enjoyed this experience. Our guide Peter was great. We then went to the floating market which was also great. This is our third private tour we took on this trip using Viator. I would recommend this excursion to anyone looking for an excellent tour.

Want to experience something unique this is it! Seeing the train and how these markets deal with this several times a day was just crazy! Loved the floating markets and the food was sooo good! Our guide Kim and our driver Mr. V were so professional and accommodating! Highly recommend!

Travelling with a 4yr old, we were apprehensive on doing too much in one day but we needn’t have worried. Our host, Bakery, messaged us the day before to introduce himself. We opted for the 7am start which meant getting to our first destination on time. Our son (and us) took full advantage of the travel time either way as we could catch up with a few zzz’s. Throughout, Bakery ‘fed’ us loads of information about our destinations as well treats from the many street food vendors. Added bonus was his photography skills which took out the hassle of us resorting to selfies. The memories of the train passing right in front of our eyes to munching on coconut ice cream whilst cruising at the floating markets will last with me forever!

Was an awesome experience. Very glad we did it. We loved being amongst the traders in the railway markets and the floating markets boat ride was so much fun. Our guide Johnny be good was amazing. Definitely a tour guide to recommend. The driver (sorry can’t remember name). Also did a great job. Kept us cool and hydrated.
