  The Captain and deck hand were incredible. We caught 1 striped marlin and 3 roosterfish. Saw whales, seals, dolphin and 3 other marlin on the surface. They worked their ass off, were so helpful. The boat is in impeccable condition. Almost OCD clean, and I mean that as a compliment. The bathroom is very clean, and would be acceptable for women. They care, and it shows. I will be booking with them again when we return.

  Had an amazing fishing trip with Freddie and Gilbert. Crew was very hard working and knowledgable. Caught two marlin, Bonita, and mahi mahi. Highly recommend this trip!!!

  We sure had a great time out on the water. We caught two mahi-mahi and two rooster fish. The crew was great. Had a very nice lunch. Highly recommended. Would go again!

  Jose and Jose on Reel Tequila were AMAZING!!! Highly recommend them! Husband caught a beautiful 104” marlin and they were beyond helpful!! This is our 3rd time booking a fishing trip and 1st time in Cabo. You want a great adventure, they are your guys! Can’t thank them enough!

  We had a great day of fishing on Reel Tequila with captain Jose and first mate Gerry. This was our third all day fishing charter in Cabo and was by far our best crew. From the time we got on the boat you could tell these guys were serious. The boat was prepped, fueled, and ready to go out, and they had already gotten the licenses for us. Before we left, they asked us what we wanted to fish for today. Having caught marlin a few days prior (with a different charter) we asked to try and catch tuna. And they delivered! The minute we put lines in the water we got two small bonitos, with a third getting loose. Then we headed off to serious tuna fishing and on the way caught a massive dorado. Depending on the day, the tuna can be quite far offshore, which Gerry let us know in advance. Luckily after some searching and checking with other captains on the radio, we were able to find a pod of porpoises, which we learned the tuna swim with. We caught one smaller tuna there. Gerry and Jose said some boats had fished that school earlier and they weren’t biting as much, so they took us to find a second group. At the second group we were able to catch three tuna, including two large ones. A fourth got away from us. A perk of tuna fishing is seeing tons of porpoises and their jumps alongside the boat. What really set Jose and Gerry apart was the effort they put in, clear communication, and the obvious care for equipment. Other crews we’ve had just drop the lures or bait in the water and wait; Gerry, on the other hand, regularly worked the lines, changing the lure as we moved from near shore to deeper waters, then finally getting us set for tuna. During any lull, Gerry asked if we needed anything, and supplied us with water, soda, beer, and pre-bagged lunches. When fish were on, Gerry gave us instructions and helped as needed. Compared to other crews, we found his instructions clear and constructive. On the way back in, Gerry started to get the boat cleaned up, including rinsing down the tackle, which we haven’t seen others do. Additionally, the boat was in good condition: cushions were intact, there was plenty of seating, and the toilet worked and was clean. One piece of advice - if you go out tuna fishing, bring earplugs because they kick the speed up to get back in time and it can get very loud. We chose to have our fish processed to take home, and a porter met us on the dock to take our fish to the facility. Overall, we had a great time and will be using the same charter next time we’re in Cabo.

  Amazing experience. My nephews LOVED it. 10/10. They caught barracuda and a blue marlin. 8-9Ft. Very exciting and will make a forever memory.

  My husband and I had an amazing time fishing with Angelo and Captain Jose. They made sure we caught fish and were super knowledgeable of where to go. We got mahi-mahi and tuna and had so much fun.

  Great trip with a very professional and accommodating crew. Would gladly book another trip. Young guy got ill but we still managed to catch a handful of fish. Saw lots of whales, dolphins and sea lions.

  Out for a full day, it did not disappoint. Captain Juan was there waiting for us, even 10 min early. The crew (Captain Gil and Mate Joel) were on point. Punctual and everything was ready for departure. We were out of the marina immediately and started catch Bonita and Mahi. As the day went, we relocated and chased Marlin - caught 2, along with a monster Mahi! They really knew how to out you on the fish and were extremely helpful and accommodating the whole trip.
