Neat little town with a lot of history. Be careful if you have trouble walking, especially walking uphill.

We enjoyed our day touring Todos Santos. Uliss was a great driver and tour guide. It was worth the price especially including lunch.

I had been curious on Todos Santos for a while and now I have it crossed off the list. It is quite an old town that seems to be dependent on tourism to keep the town alive. It isnt very lively. But the photos taken here are quite rustic and you can get some great shots here. I see this town as more for fishers and surfers. The stops along the way was a bit educational, but I did not see how it was specific to Todos Santos. It was a fine experience and the tour guide and driver was great. I just didnt think the tour plan was properly flushed out to make the whole day interesting.

What a great little town to visit. Art lovers will enjoy. Our guide, Giovanni, was our knowledgeable bilingual guide that shared information about the area and its history. Fun day trip from Cabo in a small group.

Unfortunately, both my husband (American) and I (Japanese) had a hard time understanding our guides’ English throughout the tour. Because of this language difficulty, many explanations felt long and unclear, and it affected our overall experience. If our tour guide speak better English even just a little, I leave the 4 star review. Over all experience was very fun. The first stop, the rug-making demonstration, was enjoyable. The presentation was interesting, and the products were high-quality with a wide range of prices from affordable to expensive. However, there was only one unisex restroom and we didn’t have enough time to use it. We purchased a bracket and a small Tree of Life rug. After arriving in town, the explanations about the plaza and the church were long, difficult to understand because if his English, and felt like a waste of valuable time. At the pearl and jewelry shop, the beer and tequila tasting was fun, but the history explanations were little too long. The jewelry did not look as high in quality as described, and the prices felt quite high. I bought a ring because the design was cute, but although I was told it was $350 with 40% discount (that I dont beleive) , the final charge in pesos came out to $365, which was disappointing. The chocolate tasting at Spiritual Cacao Experience was fun. The two staff members at this shop were incredibly kind and friendly, which made the experience very enjoyable. We purchased their 80% cacao chocolate, 46% cacao chocolate, and a peanut-butter liqueur that was delicious. Regarding Hotel California, I was disappointed that the interior cannot be visited. Also we are waiting long time whole tour guide and hotel staff were talking (probably about tour inside) Since the restaurant there does not have good reviews, we chose to eat tacos at another restaurant nearby. The tacos were delicious, and I’m glad we had the freedom to choose a different lunch spot. After lunch, the tequila tasting was very fun, and we purchased a bottle made with local flowers. My biggest request would be to allow at least one full hour of free time in the town. We only had about 30 minutes, which wasn’t enough to explore or shop. Many items in town were quite expensive, so we didn’t enjoy shopping as much as we hoped. With such limited time, we couldn’t visit any art galleries, cafés, or ice-cream shops at all. Ideally, 1 to 1.5 hours of free time would make the tour much more enjoyable.
