5.00As soon as I landed in Dubai (DBX), I received a WhatsApp message from Muhmmad welcoming me to Dubai and letting me know that he was ready for me. The airport was extremely crowded when our plane landed just after midnight. Getting through immigration took around 45 minutes. Muhmmad checked in on me every 15 minutes or so and sent me a photo of exactly where he was standing in the arrivals hall. I met him once I got my luggage. It turns out that he was the coordinator for drivers. After a 5 minute wait with him, he escorted me and two others to the car park and we each got into our separate cars. My driver was very pleasant and there were no issues at all in getting to my hotel. Side note -- the Uber waiting area was a big mess and I am glad that I did not plan to use Uber. I never saw the taxi line so I can not comment on that option. If I were to visit Dubai again, I would use this service.

1.00Couldn’t modify pickup time and our flight got cancelled from Paris to Dubai. We were put on another flight. We contacted the tour provider and they advised we couldn’t change our pickup time because we were arriving a few hours later.
