Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center
Sheik Zayed Grand Mosque that has been named to honor the late president, His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.The mosque is large enough to accommodate over 40,000 worshippers, while the main prayer hall can hold over 7,000. There are two smaller prayer halls, with a capacity of 1,500 each, one of which is the women's prayer hall.

1.00The mosque wasn’t the problem. Upon driving back from the mosque the driver continuously falling asleep and going into another lane. Not to mention we were going over the 140 speed limit. Dangerous, unapologetic , wouldn’t use them again.

Great way to explore Abu Dhabi from Dubai

4.00My wife and I had a day layover in Dubai, and we decided to use it to explore the Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi. Our driver was on time and did a good job explaining facts as we drove the 1.5 hrs. Once there, he assisted us to getting us into the mosque (my wife's dress was too shear so she had to buy a different option), and then waited for us as we explored. He then drove us into the heart of Abu Dhabi with a few stops. These were nice, but one seemed like a shop when we thought it was a museum. By this point, we were too jet lagged to continue and he took us back to our hotel in Dubai. Besides the awkward exchange at the "museum", we enjoyed the time.

5.00We had a great time visiting Sheikh Zayed Mosque. Our driver was prompt, picking us up at our hotel. The drive to the mosque was very pleasant. The mosque itself is very beautiful. Would definitely visit again.

1.00Worst tour I’ve ever been on in my life. Driver went to wrong hotel for pickup, kept falling asleep on the drive to and from the mosque while going 140 km/hr and getting beeped at constantly. Didn’t feel safe at all. Plus he didn’t speak a word of English, so wasn’t a tour guide at all, was just a driver. Also, when we arrived at the mosque, he started helping other people and left us to wait around for him. Then tried to tell us we only had 30 minutes when our tour was supposed to be at LEAST two hours on site. Terrible experience overall, wouldn’t recommend.
