  We had a really good Trip! Our driver was really friendly, receptive and accomodating! The homestay near Bromo was in a very scenic area and in good condition. The food was also nice!

  Incredible 3D1N Bali volcano adventure! Hiked Ijen Crater at night for the otherworldly blue flames - unforgettable! Sunrise over Mt. Bromo was magical. The tour was well-organized with a guide. Just be prepared: the Ijen Crater hike is challenging, early starts are key, and accommodations are basic. But for thrill-seekers, this is highly recommended!

  My experience on the tour was far from what was offered nor what i recived!.. after being picked up with the drive to igen departing at 18:30 and leaving for the hike at 1:30 am on arrival at the crater you couldn’t see any of the famous blue flames at all the only little bit that you got to see was a photo that the guide had to basically choke himself to get for you!!. On the way back up to catch the supposed sunrise i asked the guide what time will it be.. his response being you wont see the sunrise as its on the otherside of the mountain, yet agan another disappointing discovery!!. On returning to the car park i was told that I had to go with the driver to drop off the other couple on the tour at the ferry port as my driver was late.. the tour itneray stated we left after breakfast!.. I wasn’t picked up until 13:10pm far from after breakfast so not only have i needlessly had to wait around for hours after a long journey and 6 hour hike i find myself not getting to the accommodation until 19:25!! With no sleep or means of rest and washing myself as the place i had to stay for my late pick up wasn’t fit for that in my opinion!. And after the bromo hike not guided even though the advertised tour says english speaking guide...only certain drop off points where the driver stayed with modes of transportation thats not a guide its a driver he didn’t speak English also even though you can predict the weather it was foggy and you could see absolutely nothing on the bromo tour, this made and already disastrous trip even more horrendous. after collecting my things at the end of the tour i was told i had to get a SHARED PUBLIC BUS!! that had to come from Surabaya which was also late over 1hour Again not only that the driver nearly drove off without us at the first pit stop on the way to the port... absolutely shocking and ridiculous!! i’ve paid alot of money £235 which works out at around 4140000 rupiah for a prive tour as advertised and did not receive any of it!
