Mae Klong Railway Market (Hoop Rom Market)
Pick up from hotel lobby if your hotel is in city center of Bangkok. The pick up time is at 7 AM or 9 AM The first destination is Maeklong Railway Market where the travellers can explore the market along the railway track and see the train comes slowly to the station. You can enjoy tasting tropical fruits you might have never tried, such as mangosteen and rambutan.
After Maeklong Railway Market, it will take about 15 minutes to visit the original floating market in Thailand, Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. If the travelers start the tour at 7 AM, they will reach the hotel about 2 PM. If the travelers start the tour at 9 AM, they will reach the hotel about 4 PM. The travellers can try many Thai desserts and food that will be recommened by the guide. Enjoy shopping and taking photos of local venders who sell their goods on the boat along the canal.

5.00If you only have one day to explore outside of Bangkok, this is the tour you need to book! Our guide, Annie, made the entire experience seamless and truly unforgettable. We started the day at the Maeklong Railway Market, and it was absolutely surreal. One moment you’re walking along the tracks browsing for souvenirs, and the next, a loud whistle echoes through the market. We watched in awe as vendors pulled back their awnings with lightning speed, clearing the way for the massive, colorful train that passed just inches from their stalls. Annie knew exactly where to position us so we could capture the perfect shot of the train arriving an iconic moment we’ll never forget. After the excitement of the train, we headed to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Stepping onto the longtail boat was an experience in itself fast-paced, lively, and full of energy. The canals were buzzing with activity, packed with boats selling food, snacks, and souvenirs, while vendors called out from every direction. We cruised past traditional Thai wooden houses and coconut trees, completely immersed in the vibrant atmosphere of this famous floating market. We even spotted a massive water monitor lizard sunbathing along the concrete bank a true “National Geographic” moment! The food was another major highlight of the day. Annie recommended the coconut ice cream served in a coconut shell with sticky rice, and it was hands down the most refreshing treat in the heat. We also loved browsing the local art, especially the hand-painted elephant canvases that were so colorful and full of character. Annie was more than just a guide she felt like a friend who knew all the best spots. She helped us negotiate prices, shared fascinating local insights, and even took amazing photos for us throughout the day. Thank you, Annie, for such an incredible and memorable experience!

5.00Bee was such a wonderful guide! The Maeklong Railway Market is something you have to see to believe. The way the shops 'fold' away for the train and then 'unfold' back to normal in seconds is like a magic trick. After the excitement of the train, Bee took us to the Floating Market. The boat ride was spectacular the water was bustling with life and vibrant colors. We loved just sitting back in the boat and watching the world go by. Bee was so attentive and made sure we enjoyed every second of the scenery. It was the highlight of our trip!

5.00A very well-organized private tour. Tina was punctual and provided excellent commentary throughout the day. The transition at the railway market is fascinating to watch from the trackside. The boat portion of the tour allows for some great shopping for textiles and souvenirs directly from the water. A seamless way to see these iconic locations comfortably. 5.00Amazing experience with Annie. She is a top-tier guide friendly, knowledgeable, and a great photographer. The Railway Market was a unique thrill, and the Floating Market was full of color and life. We saw everything we wanted and more, including some cool wildlife along the canal.
