The Sacred Valley is a unique place of its kind. For this reason, it was chosen by the Inca empire for its special conditions: a climate suitable for planting and harvesting, fertile land and the presence of a sacred river next to it. All these conditions allowed the development of important architectural works dedicated to agriculture.
In this valley, the Incas built innumerable works such as aqueducts, irrigation canals, terraces, astronomical-scientific observation centers and spiritual activity centers. To our good fortune, to this day these works remain mostly intact.

Chinchero
Day 1: Chinchero - Moray - Maras - Ollantaytambo - Pisaq - Cusco. At 06:30 am we'll pick up from your hotel. We will start our excursion of the Super Sacred Valley of the Incas Tour. As first point of visit, we will go to: Chinchero, it has been discovered that some walls belong to an Inca palace covered with earth by the Spanish, we will also find an exhibition center of textiles and South American camelids.
Moray
The next destination will be Moray, a mysterious Inca archaeological site composed of amphitheater-shaped terraces that served as an agricultural laboratory for the ancient Tahuantinsuyo. Then we'll go to the district of Maras, where we will find the salt mines, impressive salt wells that have more than 5,000 wells and have been exploited since the Inca period. Once the guided tour is over, we will head to the city of Urubamba where we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch (optional).

5.00I can totally reccomend this trip. Was quite an unique and an interesting tour to the last Incan bridge off the city of Cusco. The community were very welcoming and friendly and we also had the chance to interact with them and get an idea about their traditions and culture and how well they have preservedthe bridge. This a well worth tour and it was one of the best things i did on my trip to Peru.

5.00Qeswachaka is not so popular. We read and heard a lot about this attraction from many fellow travellers and decided to give it a go. It was well worth the visit. The community was very nice and friendly. It was a bit adreanline filled to walk on top of the bridge but was a very wonderful experience. A must do!

5.00I met a few guys in the hostel I was at and went on this tour with Jorge as our tour guide. The sites were amazing along the way to the bridge. Peru is a beautiful country with friendly people. Jorge was a great guide he had lots of knowledge and was always upbeat. It was a pleasure to go on a tour with him. He even convinced me that aliens might not be the architects of these ancient Peruvian sites.
