Upon landing, passengers must first clear Immigration, and then proceed to the luggage claim area to collect their bags. After retrieving all luggage, passengers must proceed to the Customs area. Once Customs is cleared, passengers should exit the terminal promptly without engaging with solicitors. Passengers will be met outside the terminal building by their assigned Driver, who will hold a sign with their name. The Driver will assist with luggage and transport passengers to their hotel. For departure back to the airport, pickup time will be communicated after the reservation is received. The Driver will be waiting in the hotel lobby holding a meeting card with the passenger's name, ready to transport them back to the airport.

5.00I was hearing a lot of negative things regarding car seats for children in the Dominican Republic, so was concerned when taking my 4 month old baby and 4 year old. I did some research and DAT advised they had car seats (at a cost which was fine) so I went with them. Best decision ever. They ask for ages and weights of your children so they ensure they get the correct car seat, and my baby had a perfectly safe car seat for his age. Very clear instructions given on emails, and someone with your name on a board at both ends so easy to find your driver. Driver was late picking us up but we had a text message advising us this so we were not hanging around worrying. Private vehicle also so a quick journey, definitely worth the money. Would recommend for families but also couples wanting a smooth transfer!
