This walking tour was designed for those who want more than data: they seek stories, humanity and a local look. It is a close experience, one of those that remain in the memory.
We will see how this area became the symbol of Porteño luxury. Where does his name come from? Why do they call it the Paris of Latin America?
The richest thing about this walk is inside the Cemetery, considered an open-air museum. This place contains stories that feed several urban legends, but others are so incredible that they seem to be taken from a movie:
Felicitas Guerrero, the first recorded femicide in Argentina.
Rufina Cambaceres, the young woman who died twice.
Eva Duarte, why is she buried in the most armored vault of all?
These and more stories will be present in this circuit full not only of information, but also of sights, images and landscapes worth remembering.
**Cemetery ticket is NOT included, it is charged by the City Government. It will be paid on admission.**
Public transportation options are available nearby

Outside this cafe will be our meeting point, which was also a meeting point for writers, politicians and artists. Here we will see the introduction to the neighborhood and the area.
La Recoleta Cemetery
The most emblematic cemetery in Buenos Aires and one of the three most important in the world. Let’s discover its history, its unique architecture — a real “open-air museum” — and the stories of the figures who rest there, like Eva Peron. In addition, we will know urban legends such as that of the aristocratic Rufina Cambaceres, which continue to fascinate to this day.

Beautiful tour of Buenos Aires! We have been looking for a tourist experience with my friend for some time, that is extensive and with good stories of the places we visited. On this tour we found all that, very happy with having understood everything we saw. Thank you so much!!

We went with friends and loved how Liza told us the stories behind every vault in that camp. A super interesting experience. Without a doubt, an excellent level of knowledge that made us know historical data that we had no idea, and we had a great afternoon.

I went last year for a visit to the Recoleta Cemetery with the Liza guide. Madness, stories that bristle at your skin... Probably because of how it leads you to recreate each story. You can tell the love for his work and history. A genius!! Super recommended!!

Liza is a passionate guide, you can really tell she loves what she does. Everything tells like a story and the story ends up catching you, you never get bored! I really liked the tour it does because it includes not so well known sectors and gives to learn many things of Argentine history that no one tells you. The super recommend!!!
