Meet your guide at the Cobra Cafe at Museumplein. Right at the starting time of the tour, the guide will enter the museum with the group. People who are late will unfortunately loose their ticket, as the museum works with strict timeslots.
After the 2-hour guided tour inside the Rijksmuseum, you can stay as long as you wish, relax at the cafe or continuing appreciating the work of arts.

5.00Tour guide Clare was wonderful. As an artist she was able to give us detailed information about the few paintings she had carefully selected. Much better than whizzing through the museum and learning very little. She also new about the personal lives of the painters.
Do not be even 10 seconds late…you will be left behind!

1.00The tour was scheduled to start at 9:30. We were asked to be at the meeting location before that. We got delayed in heavy traffic, but we were there just before 9:30 to find the tour had left. We placed multiple call to the tour agency. We did get our admission tickets sent to us by the agency (our tour guide had our tickets). We were told that we would be refunded for our tour (minus the admission costs). We are hoping that they follow through with that. Just be fore warned.

5.00Go early. Gets crowded. Use the map signage not the best. Cafe was clean and quick. Suggest using personalized tour guide
