  It was my best friend and his wife's last day in Buenos Aires and they wanted to do something more fun than we originally had planned. Enter Fernando. I asked if he happened to have any last minute availability for a trip and he said sure, not a problem. He replied swiftly, with great information and accommodated our schedule completely. We arrived in Tigre for our trip and met Sergio, who took us out for the excursion. What an amazing human being! He took his time explaining all sorts of fascinating information about the river and surrounding areas. We had some amazing views and a very fun boat ride. At the end, we proceeded to a nearby restaurant where we planned to have a quick bite to eat and wrap up the day. The experience turned into more than 2 hours where the four of us swapped stories with Sergio and laughed probably harder than I have at any time in the last 10 years. Sergio, who was simply our guide, became a great friend that evening. We plan on coming back out with Sergio on his boat to enjoy the river again this summer, just to hang out! I cannot recommend this tour enough, the people behind the operation are incredible human beings. They will keep you safe and having fun throughout the entirety of your experience. 11/10

  Amazing tour of Tigre with Sergio. He took us to areas of the delta that larger boats cannot reach. His knowledge and passion of the region is outstanding. Very educational. Would highly recommend. You won't regret it !

  This tour was great. Our guide Lautaro has years and years of knowledge about Argentina and the surrounding areas. It was fun to see. There is so much history in the Tigre’s area. The routes and rivers ate vast.

  It was a very interesting tour. The guides explained very good the history, the animals, how the Delta works and the life between it. We went walking on a sandy island. And for the kids he really liked it when they could run the boat the same. We visit wide and narrow canals, canals where people live and where nature reigns.

  Today I took a private boat tour in the Tigre Delta with Sergio and I am thrilled. Although winter is in Argentina, we had sunny weather and pleasant temperatures – ideal conditions for this tour. The booking went uncomplicated via WhatsApp with his son Lautaro, who could communicate very well in English. The organization was also top: Punctual start at the agreed meeting point, friendly welcome and a well planned route. Sergio was our guide – an experienced boat driver with a lot of knowledge of the region. Since he speaks only Spanish, an interpreter was also present. Normally, his son does that, but he was prevented. Nevertheless, they did everything they could to ensure that the tour could go ahead as planned – I found that very thoughtful. The ride took us through the beautiful waterways of the delta, past impressive nature and many native plants and animals. I was particularly pleased about the sighting of a black kite and a red-winged oven-tube bird. Local life was also exciting to observe – many houses, gardens and small jetties along the banks. A highlight was the stop on a quiet island where Sergio has his weekend cottage. There you could especially enjoy the silence and seclusion. The motorboat was clean, comfortable and just right sized (4–6 seats) to explore even more remote canals. The duration of the tour was ideal – not rushed, but with plenty of time for explanations and observations. The Price quality ratio is very good: You pay a little more than on larger group tours, but you get a personal, tailored experience. I can fully recommend the tour – for nature lovers, peace seekers and anyone who wants to experience the Tigre Delta authentically. I hope to come back one day with my family!

  My husband and I had a wonderful day with Lautoro! He was informative and enthusiastic as we took respite from a very warm day (96 degrees!) to explore quiet, shaded canals - enjoying the flora, fauna, and specifically - the birds, along the way! Our efforts were rewarded with 34 different bird species, multiple butterflies - and a bonus otter! We also spent some time experiencing the bay's fine, silty mud as the low tide enabled us to get in the water up to our mid-calves/knees. All of this was capped off with a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. The best part? Getting to know, and learn from, Laurtoro who generously shared with us the history, culture, and current events of El Tigre. Getting to our pick up spot, from Buenas Aires via uber, was efficient and not too expensive. We highly recommend taking a tour with Safari Nautico to round out your understanding of this beautiful part of the world!

  We wanted a day trip from Buenos Aires, but didn't want to spend the day In a large group on a fixed itinerary. Also very interested in birds and wildlife. So lucky we found this trip, just the four of us in a zodiac getting into the back water s of the delta where the big boats can't go. Had lunch at a very cool bar on the water, definitely off the beaten track. Our guide Etienne was fantastic, and knowledgeable as well. The trip felt like going out on the water with a friend. Just a perfect experience for us. Great day and highly recommend !!

  I was in town for business and only had one afternoon of free time, and I sure am glad I chose this outing! Sergio and Sophia were so fun, kind, accommodating, and knowledgeable.
