We cannot predict when La Sagrada Familia will be crowded. In general, long lines are common at major attractions in summer, on most weekends, and during peak travel periods throughout the year (Christmas, Easter, local holidays). The skip-the-line ticket enables you to skip the line if indeed there is one. Unfortunately there is no way to foresee the days and times that produce lines
All visitors must pass through metal detectors at the security check point, so please expect to wait 20-30 minutes to clear security
Children younger than 6 years old, unaccompanied minors (under 18 years old) and people with reduced mobility are not allowed to go up to the towers
A maximum of 9 people per booking

All travellers should be made aware of the fact that the lift to the tower does NOT include a lift back down. You must walk approximately 400 steps down which is impossible for some older travellers. This bilingual tour is very heavily weighted to Spanish with English seemingly minor.

Enjoyed the experience, however it isn’t three hours long as billed. The guided tour lasts about an hour, then you take the elevator up to view the tower on your own. Afterward you can explore by yourself. It is very crowded in the church but having the guide helps to learn more about what you are seeing and understanding Gaudí’s vision. It is helpful to have tickets so that you can skip the line. Also note that if you are taking the early tour at 9:00am, there are no places to grab a quick bite. Nothing opens until 9:30 am—even McDonalds!!!! Our guide, Irina, was very knowledgeable but hard to hear despite having the radio headsets.

Excellent! We were welcomed at Julia travel and there was a place to sit and use the restroom. Our tour guide, Pipo, arrived on time and was very engaging! This is our second viator tour and there will be many more.

It was a little expensive compared with the standard tickets and guided tour you get when you book directly with church. The tour guide just gave general info about the church.

The Sagrada Familia is a must see. It is an amazing building and the towers tour at the end is a must do if you can handle stairs and heights. We are a family of 4 and we choose the guided tour from Julies Travel. Albert was our guide and his knowledge, passion and enthusiasm for or the building made the experience even more enjoyable and gave us a great insight into the history of the building and sculptures.

Olga E was our tour guide and she did a great job of explaining the details that would have been lost on us had we toured the church alone. She is enthusiastic, upbeat and interactive with her group in a very lovely way. I don’t think there is an inch of Sagrada Familia that doesn’t represent some aspect of the initial dream. It will be amazing to come back when it is completed!
