We cannot predict when La Sagrada Familia will be crowded. In general, long lines are common at major attractions in summer, on most weekends, and during peak travel periods throughout the year (Christmas, Easter, local holidays). The skip-the-line ticket enables you to skip the line if indeed there is one. Unfortunately there is no way to foresee the days and times that produce lines
All visitors must pass through metal detectors at the security check point, so please expect to wait 20-30 minutes to clear security

If you go to Barcelona, don't miss the Sagrada Familia. A magical work by Gaudi that transcends the limits of a simple church. The tour was excellent. It was offered in Spanish and English, which in my opinion hampered the experience a bit, but our guide handled it skillfully. An excellent guide who shared a wealth of valuable and important information.

The church and tower access was excellent and breathtaking. Our tour was supposed to be in English and we were placed by Julia travel into a bilingual Group. Our tour guide spoke Spanish 90% of the time and 10% English. We were very disappointed we had a group of 8 and we could not understand anything.

Tour guide was nice but too much info for my taste. I wanted to see the church inside and out and get some info but he was too passionate for my taste. Others who would like all the detail might find this the perfect tour.
