Artemis Karamolegos Winery
1952:The story of our winery begins with grandfather Artemis Karamolegos cultivating his vineyard in Exo Gonia. He mainly produces wine for his family, but he also sells wine. 1995:Artemis Karamolegos’ son, Vangelis, takes over the wine production, but again, not at a professional level 2003:Artemis Karamolegos, the grandson, is handed the reins of the family business. He begins to produce the good quality, bottled and labelled (then Ο.P.Α.P) wine “SANTORINI”. 2004:Artemis oversees the renewal of the old vineyard. He plants rare traditional Santorini varieties of grape such as Assyrtiko, Aidani and Mavrotragano. 5.00We had a wonderful time with Junior, our guide for the day! He was well versed in wines of Santorini. He took us to three wineries, the last being a personal home where the winemaker makes his own wines. It was an amazing experience! It was very personal and just what we wanted! Highly recommend!

5.00We had an amazing afternoon with Fani as our driver. She is so knowledgeable about the wines of Santorini and the history of the island. We were all laughing and sharing stories by the end of the afternoon. And the sunset spot she took us to was amazing and away from the tourist areas! We loved every part of the tour and highly recommend!!!

5.00The tour itself was four stars, our driver, George, made it five stars! He was very knowledgeable about the wines and wine making process, even stopping along the road to show us how they make a ‘nest’ for the grapes to protect them from the wind and sand. We visited three wineries, all had their own unique style. One was a local producer with a small production.

5.00We had a wonderful wine tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and enjoyable to be around. At the end of the day she took us to the perfect spot to watch the sunset. I would definitely recommend this tour.
