After a short trip of 10 minutes it reaches the small port of Nea Kameni, where the active volcano is. Your time there is for about 1 hour and 15 minutes where you can walk up and visit this wild landscape with the different volcanic rocks and the active craters of the volcano, where there is still smoke coming out and keenly smells sulfur. Hot Springs
To continue, the boat will depart for the island of Palaia Kameni, where the hot springs are located. Inside the small bay of Agios Nikolaos the water temperature is 30-35 degrees Celcious but it constantly mixes with seawater. The boat stays for about 30 minutes, enough time since there is no beach, but you have to climb down a ladder of the boat into the sea and swim a distance of about 30 meters to the interior of the small bay, where the mud baths are.

5.0010/10 experience. Our tour guide was absolutely exceptional, personable and professional, and he even serenaded us with some Greek songs while watching the sunset over the Oia caldera. While I wasn’t originally looking forward to the volcano, I can honestly say it was fantastic to see and to learn the history/geology of Santorini and the surrounding islands. Make sure to pack hiking shoes because it’s a decent hike to the peak! There’s plenty of time to explore and take breaks on the hike up. Overall, this tour was the highlight of my trip to Santorini. You really can’t go to Santorini without seeing the famous sunset from a boat, and this excursion is the best way to do it!!

5.00Good ship, friendly crew. Worth the money. Make sure you choose a good day before booking. We had a really good sunset (the one that goes all the way down to the horizon) on our trip - and that was the only good clear sky out of 3 nights we're in Santorini. This was in early September Also make sure to come a bit early cos they leave on time. Note: This is not part of the tour but related.. on our day the cable car broke down so we had to climb up the 580 stairs. So yea, unfavorable things can happen.
