After a short trip of 10 minutes it reaches the small port of Nea Kameni, where the active volcano is. Your time there is for about 1 hour and 15 minutes where you can walk up and visit this wild landscape with the different volcanic rocks and the active craters of the volcano, where there is still smoke coming out and keenly smells sulfur. Hot Springs

To continue, the boat will depart for the island of Palaia Kameni, where the hot springs are located. Inside the small bay of Agios Nikolaos the water temperature is 30-35 degrees Celcious but it constantly mixes with seawater. The boat stays for about 30 minutes, enough time since there is no beach, but you have to climb down a ladder of the boat into the sea and swim a distance of about 30 meters to the interior of the small bay, where the mud baths are.

Loved every part of it. Great guide. Fun stories. Beautiful boat and sunset views. The 4 hour went by pretty fast.

Nice hike, complete, maybe a little tight. The driving was outstanding. The sunset by boat is worth the expense!

10/10 experience. Our tour guide was absolutely exceptional, personable and professional, and he even serenaded us with some Greek songs while watching the sunset over the Oia caldera. While I wasn’t originally looking forward to the volcano, I can honestly say it was fantastic to see and to learn the history/geology of Santorini and the surrounding islands. Make sure to pack hiking shoes because it’s a decent hike to the peak! There’s plenty of time to explore and take breaks on the hike up. Overall, this tour was the highlight of my trip to Santorini. You really can’t go to Santorini without seeing the famous sunset from a boat, and this excursion is the best way to do it!!

We had such a wonderful adventure - this leaves from the cruise-ship-tender port so no cable cars or donkey/hills walks needed! The ship was well kept and had bathrooms as well as purchasable snacks and water/drinks. Our guide led an informative hike of the volcano (wear thick-soled shoes and bring 5E each) and we had such a blast swimming to the hot-springs-bay (the minerals will stain...dont wear anything white!). We got delicious food and gelato at Tonys on Thirassia. While watching a gorgeous sunset, our guide played guitar and sung - so special and memorable. We were on a cruise with a 9pm final tender time from the Fira port so we had some reservations about how the timing was going to line up but they were reassuring and indeed got us back exactly as promised at 8:45pm - the cruise tenders leave not 100 feet from the excursion docking so dont let time anxiety deter you from this amazing experience!

A great trip with a good amount of time at each destination to enjoy. Nice to have time for a proper meal before sailing out to watch the beautiful sunset.

Good ship, friendly crew. Worth the money. Make sure you choose a good day before booking. We had a really good sunset (the one that goes all the way down to the horizon) on our trip - and that was the only good clear sky out of 3 nights we're in Santorini. This was in early September Also make sure to come a bit early cos they leave on time. Note: This is not part of the tour but related.. on our day the cable car broke down so we had to climb up the 580 stairs. So yea, unfavorable things can happen.
Disappointed... Too afraid of time to enjoy, it's such a shame...

The ride on the volcano was nice, with a great view. However, you have to walk fast, with few stops to contemplate... The boat leaves us little time to do the whole circuit. No explanation through a guide. Hot water sources: same. Time to jump into the water, swim there and come back. We could not enjoy this moment at all.... If you're chilly: 24 degrees just....for hot springs.... And the third part: too much time in restaurants and shops... The boat rides are pleasant.

Great boat tour. We started super punctual and reached the nature park where you could visit the craters of the volcano. The Costas Guide acted as a Guide along the way in a very light and nice way, making the experience even more beautiful. Once back to the ship we sailed to the Hot Sprints, where the Poseidon ship stopped for half an hour, enough time to swim in these crazy pools. Before sunset we stopped an hour in the port of Thirassia so we could swim or browse the fishing village (PS. For cat lovers it is the top!). Absurd sunset accompanied by songs with guitars and back everyone dancing to revival songs. Highly recommended for those who want to spend a light but different afternoon.
