• Wonderful way to see Sao Miguel.

  We spent two days on the hop on hop off bus. It was a delightful way to see the highlights of the island. On our second day, we had the bus to ourselves. The tour guide Miguel was terrific. He is informative and entertaining. He got out of the bus to guide us to view points. He phoned ahead to other drivers to make sure that we were collected from the spots where we did some hiking. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Sao Miguel thanks to this service. I think it’s a lovely green way to enjoy this beautiful island.

  We had a great time with Juan and Barbara on the blue and green lines. We saw many beautiful things and learned a lot. The tour was very good, we were able to ask questions and just had a very enjoyable time due to the warm personalities of Juan and Barbara! Kudos to them!

  It was just perfect. Miguel explains great – very lively with a lot of know-how and certainly shows a lot that other guides would not even draw attention to.

  Barbara and Marco were absolutely incredible. So knowledgeable and full of enthusiasm sharing resources and history. Transportation was a full luxury air conditioned bus with plenty of room and easy to hear narrative. Fantastic value and ease in completing both green and blue routes in 5 hours.

  It's a great way to see many sights without the need to drive yourself. Very flexible schedule. Lovely guides; Barbara, Juan and Miguel were very helpful and knowledgeable. 2 fantastic days.

  We bought the 2 day ticket. 1st day to the west of the Island and 2nd day the central route. Both were fantastic! Excellent guides - Barbara, Juan and Miguel - very knowledgeable and friendly. Saw all the sights we had on our 'to do' list....Sete Cidades, Caldeira Velha, Gorriana tea plantation and more. Wonderful experience.

  Marvellous trip. I did the blue & green trips. Guides were friendly & personable. Highly recommended. Scenery was absolutely amazing.

  This bus was a fantastic and affordable way to visit the main sites on the island. I was lucky enough to meet a few different guides along the way - all were really friendly and knowledgeable. It was also a great way to meet solo travelers like myself. I came across this hop on hop off service after a failed attempt to see Miradouro Grota do Inferno earlier in the week on a different tour due to weather and thought i'd try my luck on my last day in Sao Miguel. It didn't disappoint - great views of Miradouro Grota do Inferno and only a short walk from the bus stop.

  We had a great trip. It was very affordable, so saw most of the island. I am not sure if Juan or Barbara were better, both were very informative and personalized. We really enjoyed both the blue line and green line tours. Would highly recommend.
