Once you disembark from the ship, I will wait for you at the cruise terminal, at the gate 5 exit of the port of Messina where I will be there waiting for you with a sign with your name and surname. From here we will begin our journey to Savoca, which will last approximately 1 hour by car.

We will stop in the art city of Savoca where we can visit the Vitelli bar, where it will be possible to taste a typical Sicilian granita. Another stop on our tour will be the church of "Santa Maria in cielo Assunta" which we also find in some excerpts of the film such as that of the wedding between Michael Corleone and Apollonia.

My husband previously wrote a great review but I wanted to add something. We traveled with my dad in an electric wheelchair and Alessandro and Marisa made sure we took accessible routes. We got to see so much and learned a lot of history while having so much fun!

Marisa and Alessandro were excellent as guide and driver in Sicily, obviously very knowledgeable and informative, and lots of fun as well. They were very well prepared too, as we ran into some unexpected rain and they had 4 umbrellas handy. We highly recommend them to cruise travelers over the excursions the cruise lines provide. Ask them to take you to the Turrisi Bar!

Yesterday we were in Messina With alessandro we visited 3 places I would say beautiful Savoca Castelmola Taormina Alessandro was really a great professional I recommend it.

Our tour guide Pari was amazing. The private tour for six of us was our best tour of our trip. We visited beautiful small mountain top villages, along with a great lunch.

We had the most wonderful day spent with Allesandro and Marisa! They were knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and clearly experienced guides! They were patient with my 80 year old parents and were so sweet to help them walk up and down stairs. They were prompt and had an immaculately clean van which sat 6 of us comfortably. Marisa was thoughtful in her presentation of information and stayed with us all day. I would highly recommend using Booking Sicily Tours with Allesandro and Marisa and can’t wait to come back again and use them in the future!!
