The Egyptian Museum in Cairo
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your guide in Cairo and begin your excursion at the Egyptian Museum. This building boasts an incredible collection of ancient treasures from Egypt and the Pharaohs. Be enchanted by the golden mask and jewels of King Tutankhamun, marvel at the statues of kings, remarkable servants, writers and ancient citizens, and see what life was like under the various ruling families from the colorful panoramic canvases could. After the visit to the museum, we interrupt the tour for a lunch break in one of the restaurants on site.

4.00Earlier flights would be beneficial and more time at each location other than that the experience is absolutely unmissable!! Everything was seamless all drivers and guides fabulous. Especially Mina the main guide who is friendly, knowledgeable and caring. Nothing to big an ask . Excellent all in. We loved it .

5.00Sarwat was amazing and tue 5 stars are for him and the driver in Cairo. We had a super day! We saw everything and more and also added on a small boat ride and horse and cart ride to see all 9 pyramids. The horse and cart ride was uncomfortable and I wasn't sure about how well the horses were looked after. We are not as impressed with FTS as no driver turned up to collect us from the hotel and we received no information from FTS or the driver. It was only with the help of the hotel staff helping us to get a taxi and the speedy support at the airport that we managed to get our flight. Thankfully once we met Sarwat we were able to relax but I am not happy with how FTS has handled the matter so far and we have not been offered a refund for our additional taxi fare. We are writing this review before we head home and so hoping that there will be a driver waiting for us at the other end when we arrive home at 10pm....

5.00Khaled Omar showed us Cairo's most beautiful corners and best insider tips. We were not like tourists in the city, because we were led by Khaled to the best secret spots. He really knows everyone in town and you feel very special about him. Everyone should take the trip with them!!!

5.00Great day out , We booked the all inclusive package which includes the river Nile cruise and inside the great pyramid We ended up swapping the entry to the great pyramid for the camel/ horse and cart ride to the viewing point of all 9 pyramids or you can add it on for €25 each. As we also had entry to the little pyramid. If you do not have the river Nile cruise included you can add it on for €15 each. We also added on the new grand museum for an extra €30 each , 100% worth it, it’s huge!! Ahmed was our guide, it was super easy to find him when leaving the airport, the red coat 100% helped to find him in the crowds. He was great at explaining everything to us and giving us recommendations, also a great photographer, he took photos on our phones during the day and was using filters and telling us to do funny poses with the pyramids , one of our group was eating the pyramid and punching the sphinx. He walked us around some the grand museum before letting us have some free time. Would recommend asking your hotel for a breakfast / picnic box as we were out for 20 hours . Also not booking anything the day after so you can chill. Even though it’s a super long day , would definitely do it again.
