A visit to Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is a must do when you visit U.A.E. The mosque is an architectural masterpiece created by artisans from around the world using gold, marble and semi precious stones.

Suitable for all physical fitness levels

No smoking, eating, or drinking inside the mosque area.

Dress code for men is long-sleeve shirts, long trousers, no shorts.

Dress code for women is long trousers or skirts, long-sleeve shirts or tops, nothing tight, headscarf (important). Black Abayas are provided to visiting females. You might, or will probably, be given one to wear no matter how conservatively dressed you are so don't worry too much about what you're wearing, or if you forget to bring a scarf.

Hair (for women) should be kept covered while in the mosque grounds but it's not necessary to cover faces.

Footwear must be removed before entering so it is recommended that visitors wear comfortable shoes that are easily removed

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center

It is the largest mosque in the United Arab Emirates, one of the largest in the world. It can hold up to 40,000 worshipers same time. This is truly one of the most stunning sites to see in United Arab Emirates ( Located In Capital City Of U.A.E, City Called Abu Dhabi ) The mosque is named for Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the first president of the United Arab Emirates and the founder of the mosque. He is buried in the mausoleum on the grounds here. The mosque is open to people of all nationalities and religions, not only for Muslims.

I joined the Sheikh Zayed Mosque tour and it was a wonderful experience. Our guide, Usman Jamil, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He explained the history and details of the mosque clearly, and made the tour both informative and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

This tour is super complete. Many beautiful stops, I love. Count at least 9 hours of excursion! For the price it is totally good value for money!

The mosque is undeniably spectacular and was wonderful to visit. The trip there and back was terrible, with us having to climb into a rear seat only suitable for a child, certainly not for us sexagenarians. When our driver bothered to speak we, of course, could not hear a thing. He showedg very little interest and it was simply a “drive and drop” situation.
