  Seeing all the sites, castles, and towns were very nice. This tour basically consisted of all on your own time and not really guided tours. You have to pay for the castles, so all you’re basically getting is a day drive there. What the tour did not mention is how rough and winding the drive would be. One got very sick with motion sickness.

  A very good day trip. Good communication, easy pick up and good transport. Our guide was excellent - knowledgeable, humorous and excellent English. I would recommend this trip.

  The company is reliable: you receive very precise information beforehand on what tickets to buy for what time slot. They know what they are doing, and they organize it well. Everything is on time, everything is carried out as promised. Our guide, Matthew, was very knowledgeable, and his black sense of humor was not just entertaining, but memorable. If you listen to his explanations, you end up with an idea of Romanian history and Romanian society today. Any question is answered in a way that we found satisfactory We were a group of six, so everything was quick and smooth, no feeling of mass handling and barely any rush.

  It was amazing . our guide, Serban and our driver Peter were wonderful. Our day was fantastic. I didn't have an option to choose English speaking . When I booked on line. However, Serban spoke perfect English. It was an amazing and wonderful day. Thanks 😊

  My husband and I booked this trip as part of a 5 day stay in Bucharest. The communication from beginning to end was excellent and very informative. We were advised of meeting place, times, advised to buy tickets for the castles in advance as these weren't part of the tour, given a contact as well in advance prior to the day we booked. The actual day was fantastic. The bus was clean and air conditioned. Our Guide Serban was amazing. He absolutely topped off the day with his humour, knowledge and assistance. I would highly recommend a tour with him. The driver was safe and we had ample bathroom breaks for the time on the road. We were advised in advance of possible traffic and so when the return trip took a little longer it wasn't a surprise. Serban was extremely helpful and kind to the point he assisted us coming out of the bus...a true gentleman. The actual trip was worth it and the times at each place ample, however I think we'd have liked more time in Brasov but that would require an overnight stay. For the trip paid for I think the timings were OK. It wasn't busy when we arrived at Peles castle , our first stop. Serban asked every step of the trip what we would all like to do first and accommodated what we asked for. As we left it became busier so Peles castle for the first stop was the right call. Brans castle was our next visit and the final one Brasov. Overall my husband and I were very happy with this day trip and cant recommend it enough....especially if you get Serban.

  A beautiful Brasov town with interesting Brans Castle exactly the movie experience. However the schedule is very tight.

  The driver and guide was super restricted about minutes and rushed through the day, in order to be back in Bucharest as soon as possible and drop us off. No food or drink was aloud on the small minibus unfortunately!

  Lovely tour guide Serban and driver Bogdan both English very good. Tour guide regularly gave passengers options of how long they want to stay at locations, clear instructions on meeting points and was inundated with local knowledge mentioning we can contact him at any point for any help. Beautiful views don’t be fooled with the 1500 steps at Google tells you about Dracula’s castle. There is a steep slope but can stop at any point and throughout the castle there’s resting points once in the castle perhaps 100 stairs maximum to climb intermittently.

  

  

  

  

  

• Day trip to Transylvania

  This was a fun bucket list day but, the traffic congestion made this long day even longer. Our 12 hour trip was 14 hours but, the tour cost is a very good value. In November, they clean Peles castle so those who want to tour a summer castle can get tickets to Pelisor. They are only a few hundreds yards apart. Peles was more like a castle and Pelisor was more like a magnificent hunting lodge but, still worth a look. We had lunch in Brasov at Draculas Restaurant and it was excellent. The tickets for Brans Castle were an extra cost but, not that much.
