Pick up was spot on time and tour guide was very friendly and gave clear information during the drive. Both castles were great to visit and plenty of free time at both and also in Brasov.

Peles Castle is interesting because of its rich interior decorations, Bran Castle because of its association with Dracula (the real Dracula). Brasov has a very nice historical town centre (make sure you make maximum use of your time there). In addition, the drive into the Carpathians gives you a glimpse of Transylvania (very green). The guide Laura was pleasant and human.

Although this is a big day out with a long drive, the journey was comfortable and well paced. Our guide was well organised and very informative. Both Peles and Bran castles are well worth seeing. Just be aware that Bran castle does require an uphill walk and also some narrow, steep steps within the castle. The free time for lunch/snacks at our last stop Brasov was much appreciated.

This is a good tour. I enjoyed it. It is not. Great tour. I am a little perplexed t the number of 5 star reviews. First, there are lots of things to like. The WiFi in the van is great. The hotel pickup is nice. The people (driver and tour guide ) are delightful. Why did I rank 3 stars instead of five (I give lots of 5 star reviews ). They missed on a number of details. Examples include : - saying that a castle is closed mondays only for certain months. Some exception occurred where the Pelas castle was closed on the Tuesday we visited. We found out a couple of weeks prior to our trip. It was too ,ate to change I know they will say we said check the times for the castle hours, but when you say it is open except for mondays in the months we are travelling we didn’t think to check for exceptions - the tour guide was very nice. However she missed so many opportunities - why the castle was called draculas castle, walking to Peles castle and being surprised the bathrooms were closed, giving us 2 hours in the city but rushing us through Dracula’s castle, guiding 4-6 of us through the castle while the rest were on their own. It should have been managed better

This is an all day tour with lots of travelling, but you see some great and very different castles and visit a lovely town. Our guide Serban made the tour extra special and was very knowledgeable and entertaining .
