WELCOME to the most charming and colorful tour of Colombia: the TOUR TO GUATAPÉ! Unlike massive tours with a guide for 40 people, you will ride a shared bus, but each guide accompanies a MAXIMUM GROUP of 18 people to ensure a closer experience at an affordable price.
We start with a DELICIOUS BREAKFAST. Then, we will visit the PEÑOL PEOPLE and its FAMOUS REPLICA.
Wait for the best to come! The PEÑOL STONE challenges you with its 700 steps. Do you dare to go up and enjoy a 360o view? You can!
After the TYPICAL LUNCH, we will take a relaxing LUXURY BOAT RIDE to contemplate incredible landscapes and properties.
Later, we will visit the town of Guatapé with our guide : CALLE DE LAS SOMBRILLAS, PLAZA DE LOS ZÓCALOS, CALLE DEL RECUERDO and PARQUE CENTRAL, and you will have time to travel at your own pace.
Finally, we will interact with adorable animals such as llamas

It is advisable to bring 30,000 COP in cash if you want to climb the rock, as they only accept this form of payment.
Transportation may be shared with another group.
Groups per guide are limited to a maximum of 18 people.
Waiting time at the meetup points is 10 minutes maximum, if you arrive later we will continue, respecting others time

Menu: Corn arepa, soft cheese, and eggs of your choice: scrambled, with seasonings, with sausage, or with ham. To drink: coffee, hot chocolate, or juice of the day. Vegan and vegetarian options are also available.

5.00The views from Pedra do Penol is a must. Guatape is a nostalgic beautiful place. Our guide Osiris was great and very friendly. Now the steps can be challenging if you are not physically prepared you will suffer but believe me it is worth sore legs the next day!!!! Feeding the Llamas is a great fun!!!! I highly recommend this tour!!!

5.00The tour was well coordinated and Osiris kept the group well informed & entertained throughout. Hernan was our Spanish guide, who was a darling & engaging impromptu dance party ringleader. The boat ride was a great start. All meals were included which was one of the best components since we didn’t need to carry tons of cash for these. Definitely recommend!

2.00I booked this tour because it was advertised as a premium experience, but nothing about the service reflected that description. The group was actually very large (over 20 people) with 7 people left behind. Moreover, there is nothing this tour offers that others do not. Despite such a large group and so many people missing, the operator insisted it was completely normal to leave after just 10 minutes, without making a real effort to contact us. I’m not expecting a group to wait for hours, but when almost half the group is absent, a professional operator would at least pause, communicate clearly, and check what’s going on. Instead, all of us received only a brief message with no warning that the group was about to leave. The communication was extremely poor. There was no proactive guidance, no follow-up message, and no attempt to coordinate with guests who were nearby and trying to find the group. Several of us tried contacting the operator immediately, yet the responses were delayed or unhelpful. For something sold as “premium,” the service was inflexible, disorganized, and not guest-oriented. There are many other tours in the area that offer the exact same experience, but with better communication, more flexibility, and for a much lower price. Overall, this tour did not deliver anything close to a premium experience, and I would recommend booking with another operator.

5.00We were able to see so many things through this tour! Osiris was so knowledgeable and friendly as our tour guide. Climbing the piedra in guatape is definitely something not to be missed. It was beautiful!!
