Itinerary

Meeting in Via Marina Grande, 110, 80067 – Sorrento 20 minutes before departure, introductory lesson on kayaking technique and safety at sea.

Departure

We will pass in front of the ancient tuna fishery and travel along the limestone coast of Sorrento towards the Bagni della Regina Giovanna.

Visit to the Baths of Queen Giovanna

We will visit the natural pool of Bagni della Regina Giovanna, where you can take a bath, take lots of photos and explore the Roman ruins.

Come back in

We will admire the Roman villa of Pollio Felice from the outside, then slowly return to Marina Grande to conclude the tour.

Our guide was so laid back and friendly he made the experience ever more fun. The kayaking was nice and easy and he took the time to explain some history along the way. The Bagnia Regina Giovanna was pretty cool. The water so shallow and crystal clear so you can get out of your kayak and get into the water. The weather was a bit cool since it was late April but it was still warm enough to wade in for me but too cold to completely submerge myself. The guide gave us plenty of time to explore the area and then we headed back to the Marina. Kayaking in the Bay of Naples with Mt. Vesuvius as our backdrop was insane. Our guide took photos for everyone and had such a great attitude. He was definitely a key factor in making this a great experience.

Great way to experience Bagni Regina Giovanni! It is tough work, so be ready to get an upper body work out. But the views were worth it!

Luigi, our guide, was fantastic. We had so much fun kayaking around and the views were beautiful. He was very knowledgable about the history of the area and we both felt like we learned a lot. He was also very accommodating. Bring some sort of water shoe so you can walk around the old roman pool you kayak to. This trip is definitely worth doing when you visit Sorrento.

A great experience kayaking through the sea! Both of the guides we met spoke great English and were so friendly! They recommended Mama Che pasta to eat and it was the best food we had in Italy! Antonio was fantastic at his job! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time-staff great, beautiful scenery!!! We stopped to swim and it was very refreshing. On the way back it was a little choppy with strong currents but the guides made sure were all got back safely. They were very supportive. Highly recommend!
