4.00It was full day of travel and adventure. I would recommend that you wear the proper sturdy/hiking shoes for the Grand Canyon. The weather for the end of September was great for when we traveled there. You'll even get a nap in during the ride both coming and going. There was a well needed bathroom break going out at about the half-way point.

5.00I went on a small group guided tour of the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam. Our guide was Steve. I was so impressed by how well planned out the trip was and how knowledgeable and personable Steve was throughout the day. As a solo traveler, I was a bit anxious that I would feel like the ‘odd man out,’ but Steve and the rest of the group were fantastic and always made me feel included. Steve was well-prepared and kept us hydrated with cold waters throughout the day; greatly appreciated as the temps were in the high 90s. I wouldn’t change a thing about my excursion - it was an experience I’ll never forget!
