Our Snorkel Adventure is a true West Coast experience just minutes from Vancouver on this exciting 5-hour excursion. Snorkel in the stunning Howe Sound, then head toward the Pam Rocks seal colony for a glance at these gorgeous sea creatures. Slip into a wet suit and strap on some snorkel gear for a dip in the sea. For those who prefer to stay in the boat, there's also a 'sightseeing only' option. All snorkeling equipment, refreshments, and light snacks are included.

Please note: There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. 'Sightseeing Only' option cannot operate without enough divers or snorkelers.
Guests must be able to swim
Guest weights, heights, and shoe size must be shared with staff at time of booking.
Trip operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately. If canceled due to poor weather, an alternative date will be suggested.
Children must be accompanied by parent or guardian
Children under 19 must have waiver signed by parent or guardian

Snorkel while observing Vancouver's resident harbour seals during this 5-hour adventure boat tour! Board our boat from Horseshoe Bay with your adventure guide, where we'll take you by boat to the local seal colony. Slip into the provided snorkel gear and wetsuit, then dive in for an up-close experience with seals, following their lead! Snorkel around the bay and the rocks, experiencing the marine environment while in a 40ft customized vessel. A sightseeing-only option is available for those passengers who wish to stay dry on the boat. All snorkeling equipment, refreshments, and light snacks are included. Please note this tour is created for sightseeing only, we do not encourage interaction with the seals. However, seals all have unique personalities and some may swim right up to you to have a closer look! In these events we encourage all adventurers to simply stay still and let the seal do it's thing. All snorkelers must agree and abide to our marine protection guidelines before entering the water.

5.00OVERALL: This was AMAZING!!! Definitely recommend :) HOW IT GOES: First you will snorkel / can just float in water and watch the seals if you prefer, then snack break on boat (they made soup and hot chocolate and gave out chips and Rice Krispies), then you get a choice between snorkeling and kayaking. The kayakers are dropped off first, then the snorkelers. The kayakers go around the island to meet the snorkelers before going back to the boat. THE SEALS: Oh my they are so cute! They make dog-like noises. You will mainly see them perched on the rocks, but a couple may swim. None of them got close to us, a baby sort of did ish, but we saw so many! Lots of seagulls, a heron, and some oyster catching bird too THE BEST GUIDES: Both guides and the captain were so so helpful! A couple of the workers helped us with the wetsuits (they are so tough to get on!!), and another guide named Emma went above and beyond with the kayak help! Emma tied her kayak to my boyfriend’s kayak and pulled him ALL around the island. He’s very tall and it hurt his legs to sit in the kayak, plus he recently broke his wrist. So appreciate of her so he could still enjoy the experience! FULL GEAR PROVIDED: We were also provided with full wet suits, flippers, snorkels, and wet socks! I was not cold in the water if that is a worry of yours, and the wetsuits make you float which was great too! ONLY DOWN SIDE: The kayaks were pretty uncomfortable unfortunately. You also have to go a good ways around the island with a potential current. Don’t recommend if you are tall or have back problems! Totally fine to do the snorkeling both times!

5.00Superb experience, crew were fantastic. Boat was big enough for 12 passengers and everything was provided. Hot soup or chocolate provided after each seal encounter. Something everyone should do at least once, my boys have already asked to go again. Parking can be a slight pain, so give yourself enough time to find a place. There is a parking lot just beside there shop but it can get full. If you don't want to dive you can just be a passenger, note the boat does move off slightly once your in the water with a crew member for the protection of the seals and birds.

5.00Awesome experience, especially for seal-lovers! The staff was super supportive and always making sure everyone was comfortable and well-attended. We were lucky to get some seals interacting with us up close. Definitely will come again, maybe as an yearly treat 😉

5.00This was the best thing I did the whole time I was in Vancouver. The guides are funny and super nice, and the seals and the views are just amazing. It’s a must-do. I’d do it again if I could.
