Over the course of a few delicious stops, you’ll savor buttery biscuits, creamy shrimp & grits, and famous frozen treats alongside surprising local creations from some of Savannah’s most talented chefs. Between bites, enjoy a leisurely stroll through some of the city’s prettiest squares and learn the stories that connect Savannah’s history, culture, and cuisine.

We CAN, however, provide accommodations for seafood allergies, nut allergies, pescatarian, and vegetarian options at most locations. If any of these restriction apply to you, please send us an email (info in ticket). Additionally, because our tours have such a limited size we cannot offer a reduced ticket price due to dietary restrictions. Thank you for your understanding. If you are traveling with an infant, please advise at the time of booking under special requirements.

Operates in all weather conditions; please dress appropriately.

May not be appropriate for all children; please exercise discretion as this tour requires standing, walking, and listening to history/stories for 3 hours.

All tastings add up to a lunch portion; eating a light breakfast before attending the tour is advised.

Alcoholic beverages must be in a plastic or Styrofoam cup and only one alcoholic beverage is allowed at a time; failure to comply can result in a fine by Savannah Police.

A maximum of 14 people per booking, and tours have a maximum of 14 guests.

What a great tour guide we had: green-haired Bec (for Rebecca). She was extremely knowledgeable about all of the historical as well as the food stops. The group was very congenial, and Beth was patient with some of the older less mobile folks on the tour navigating Savannah‘s quite busy city streets. The food choices were terrific. Well, except for the boiled peanuts. The biscuit and gravy from Quinn’s was a stand out along with the chicken sandwich from Zunzi’s. Portions were more sampler size so it’s like the equivalent of a full, leisurely lunch. Get your steps in a most enjoyable and educational way.

Our guide was Gail. She was knowledgeable about the history of the houses, parks and cemeteries while we walked to the various restaurants. We were introduced to a number of Southern foods that we northerners had never eaten. Boiled peanuts and fried green tomatoes with crabmeat as well as the famous Leopold’s ice cream. We highly recommend this tour.

Ask for “Miss Country.” She was our guide and did a fantastic job, sharing funny stories along with her deep knowledge of the area. She made the experience very enjoyable, and we highly recommend both the tour and Miss Country as your guide.

This tour was better than the First Squares food tour, but not by much. Not worth the price. The positives were the fantastic tour guide and the collaborative ice cream at the end.
